Winning A House And Money

A man who basically spent his life helping disabled people find a place to live has won a £2.5million (CDN $4. million) country house. Grant Carson scooped up the 5-bedroom farmhouse on 8 acres of land after entering the Omaze Million Pound House Draw.

He worked at a Glasgow charity for 27 years, helping disabled people with all aspects of life.

The 58-year-old widower said he’s happy that he can now get something he’s always wanted – but was out of the question due to chronic arthritis he has had since he was 7.

The new home is surrounded by “idyllic countryside” and he can now “definitely afford a dog walker,” because along with the house, he also won £100,000 ($163,000 CDN) in cash.
