A 31-year-old Ironman athlete from England was vacationing in South Africa and saved TWO lives.

Toby Finneran of the United Kingdom noticed a young boy struggling on the beach.

“I saw a head bobbing in the surf amid the kelp,” Finneran said. Being a strong swimmer,

Finneran dove into the water and helped the boy onto a buoy.

After Finneran pulled the boy to shore, he saw an adult in the water, face down. This person may have also been trying to help the young boy.

“My heart raced, and I ran over, administering first aid with the help of my surgeon friend, putting the person in the recovery position and monitoring their breathing,” Finneran said.

Both the boy and the adult were then treated by emergency services and appeared to be recovering from the terrifying incident
