A reporter in Boston was covering a small plane crash yesterday, and must have gotten pranked by the pilot.
He told her it was caused by a defective “flux capacitator” . . . like the “flux capacitor” from the time-travelling DeLorean in “Back to the Future”.
A bride’s Facebook post is going viral right now because she asked her GUESTS to pay for her wedding. She wanted a $60,000 wedding, but only had $15,000 . . . so she asked her guests to contribute $1,500 each. And when they wouldn’t, she called off the wedding . . . and ended things with her fiancé.
—————————————————————————————————————————-
A 19-year-old woman in Russia whose father is a billionaire had a $4.5 MILLION wedding last year, which included performances from Mariah Carey and Elton John. But she just admitted it was all a scheme to make her ex jealous . . . and it WORKED. She just ended things with her husband and now she’s back with her ex.

ENTERTAINMENT
Actor Josh Radnor has been hit with a temporary restraining order filed by his neighbours. Last year, the “How I Met Your Mother” star was sued for allegedly overstepping the boundaries of a legal agreement between the previous owner of Radnor’s house and the folks next door. The neighbour claimed Radnor removed a wall and extended some decking in 2016, breaking the terms of the agreement. Radnor has been ordered to stay seven yards away from his neighbors.
TODAY IS……………….
- “More Herbs, Less Salt Day”, because it’s ‘healthier, zestier and lustier!’ So go ahead, spice up your life! What’s the world’s most-used spice? Black pepper.
- “Lemon Juice Day”, the oddest juice. You’d never drink it straight up, but without it, so many of our food and drinks would be flat and dull.

TODAY’S GOOD NEWS
There’s a nail salon inside a Walmart in Flint, Michigan. And last Thursday, one of the salon workers said they couldn’t do a woman’s nails, because she has cerebral palsy.
The woman’s name is Angela Peters. Her hands tend to shake a little bit. And they basically said it was impossible to do her nails because of it.
But a Walmart worker named Ebony Harris saw it happen. And after she watched them turn Angela down, she stepped in and said SHE’D do her nails.
They went and picked out a color. Then Ebony skipped her break to sit down with her. And now a photo of her doing her nails is making the rounds on social media.
Ebony says Angela did shake a bit, which made it a little harder. But it wasn’t a big deal. And her nails turned out great.
The two of them also had a great conversation. And they’re already planning a dinner together soon.

[59] Chris Hadfield, Sarnia ON, Astronaut/engineer/fighter pilot/musician/author
BENEFITS OF SLEEPING WITH A FAN ON:
► It keeps you cool: You might be saying ‘Duh!’ right now, but that’s the main reason most people buy a fan. A fan circulates air over the body, encouraging the core body temperature to drop. Fans also create breeze, which is why people use them with air conditioners.
► It saves you money: It’s probably not news to you that air conditioning is expensive. Fans are a lot cheaper. If you can’t afford an air conditioner, a fan is your best bet. Or, if you just want to save money and it isn’t too hot where you live, a fan will get the job done.
► It creates white noise: Some sleep with a fan is because they create a white noise, which can be soothing. White noise can block out sudden sounds—like a barking dog or a car alarm…or even your loud teenager. (Of course, maybe if your dog is barking or your car alarm is going off, you want to go check that out…)
► It gets rid of lingering odors: Fans really get the air moving, and that means they help get rid of any weird lingering smells that might be in your bedroom. (Or you could just take those dirty dishes to the dishwasher…)
► It helps you sleep better: Overall, fans can improve your sleep environment by making a
room cooler, more ventilated, and a little bit quieter. If you’re too hot, you won’t be able to get the right amount of sleep. Same thing if you keep waking up from noises or smells. So, at the end of the day, a fan can really help you if you struggle with restless sleep.

But then she got an email that said, “Your lost wallet.” The family of a student from Chicago found the wallet, and he had the idea to use Hodgson’s work pass to find her on LinkedIn. He sent the wallet to Hodgson in Liverpool, with the 50 pounds of British money, $100, and debit and credit cards that were in it all there, and refused to take any money as a thank you or to cover the cost of sending it to her.
