A 69-year-old man from The Netherlands has decided to sue in order to legally change his age to 49.

Emile Ratelband, says that he lives in a society where people can change their genders so why can’t he change his age? He said that if he were to legally change his age, he would have better luck dating, getting jobs and making large purchases.

He explained, “When I’m 69, I am limited. If I’m 49, then I can buy a new house, drive a different car. When I’m on Tinder and it says I’m 69, I don’t get an answer. He said he will give up his pension if the court ruled in his favor, since he would no longer need it as a 49-year-old man. The city court is expected to deliver a decision on the case within the month.

A city in China has banned dog owners from walking their pets during the daytime.  Not only that, but man’s best friend will no longer be allowed in parks, shopping centres, sports facilities and other public spaces at any time.  Dog ownership has always been subject to tight regulations in China, but these new measures are being called the toughest in the country. The official word from the city is that the new rules, which specify that dog owners are no longer allowed to walk their dogs from 7am to 10pm, are being put in place as part of official efforts to “improve residents living conditions and maintain public safety”.  It also says dog leashes cannot be longer than 1 metre (3 feet) and dogs can only be walked by adults.

WHY YOU SHOULD NEVER BRING YOUR CELL PHONE INTO THE BATHROOM

A new study has revealed that it is actually dangerous to bring your cell phone into the bathroom with you!

According to researchers, ou can exposing yourself and others to germs like salmonella, E. coli and C. difficile! This can happen when you wipe yourself, touch the flush handle or door lock and then touch the phone prior to washing your hands. Hygiene expert Dr. Lisa Ackerley gave specific instructions for people who absolutely have to use their phone in the bathroom, saying, “Read the book or phone in your right hand, then transfer it to the left.

Wipe with your right, flush with the right, carry the book or phone out in your left hand without touching anything else and then wash your hands.” She added, “If you wipe your bum then pick up your phone, you may as well not bother washing your hands because all the bacteria you put on your phone will end up back on your hands.”

Meanwhile, Dr. Ron Cutler, director of biomedical science degrees at Queen Mary’s University London says keep the phone out of the bathroom, period. He explained, “Basically, you just shouldn’t (take your phone into the toilet) if you are at all concerned about the transfer of viruses and fecal contamination.”

YAWNING:
Why are we all such copycats when it comes to yawning?  While there’s no 100% scientific consensus about why yawns are contagious, there are couple of leading theories:

⇒ Humans “catch” yawns because we’re a particularly compassionate species, and it’s a way of communicating empathy. One study concluded that children were essentially immune to contagious yawning until the age of four—around the time when empathy is learned for most kids.

⇒ Yawning regulates the brain’s internal temperature, working almost like a radiator. This phenomenon was actually observed by researchers at Binghamton University, who studied the behavior of parrots and found that as the temperature in the room increased, the birds’ yawning increased too.

How would that play into contagious yawning? Researchers believe that if we see someone else yawning, we are tipped off that we should start yawning to keep our brains cool, too.

Kane Brown Got His Mom a Car, an Apartment, and a Job

KANE BROWN has been pretty open about being raised by a single mom . . . and how things got so bad that they had to live in a car.  Well, things have certainly changed, and now he’s doing what he can to help her out.

He talked about it in an interview.  Quote, “My mom’s going through some things right now, and I’m trying to help.  My family goes through depression.  I did buy her a car for her birthday a year or two ago.”

Unfortunately, the depression was keeping her down and she found herself living in her father’s basement.  Quote, “I called her, and I was like, ‘Mom, I want to take care of you, so go pick out an apartment, whichever apartment you want.'”

He got her a place, paid for a full year’s rent and insurance in advance . . . and then put her on his payroll so she doesn’t have to get a job if she doesn’t want to.

KELSEA BALLERINI SHUTS DOWN INTERNET TROLL – (11/12/2018)

Kelsea Ballerini shut down an internet troll that told her to “lose some weight.” On Friday she fired back with this: “I’m not responding to this to give you attention because you don’t deserve that, I’m responding because I am a healthy, normal chick which I pride myself on and work hard for, and want other young girls to see that and know that ‘skinny’ is not always the goal. And for you to think its okay to comment on my weight or size is disgusting.” She then added, “I’m going to get a burger now. Bye.”

Among her online supporters was Kane Brown who posted, “get 2 burgers.” Kelsea is nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year at this week’s awards.
