On Today’s Show
January 29, 2019 9:35 amAn employee at Hudson’s Bay Company has been charged after a co-worker accused the woman of trying to poison her.
Matsatso Beliashvili said she began noticing her water bottle smelled funny and finding bubbles in the bottle. Over the next few months she started to get sick with nausea, headaches and skin irritations she wondered if it was connected to the bottle.
So, she decided to buy a new one, but it wasn’t long before it began happening again. After speaking with her boss and leaving her water bottle out in the open, they checked security footage which allegedly showed a co-worker spraying Lysol into her water bottle.
Toronto police have confirmed a female suspect has been arrested and charged with administering a noxious substance and mischief.
Matsatso was shocked because she had thought she and her colleague had a “normal relationship” that was both professional and friendly.

Update: The $1.5 Billion Lottery Winner Still Hasn’t Claimed Their Prize
As every day passes, it seems more and more likely that the biggest lottery jackpot winner in U.S. history has no idea they’re a billionaire.
Remember last year, when the Mega Millions got up to $1.5 BILLION and there was one winning ticket sold in Simpsonville, South Carolina?
Well, that person STILL hasn’t claimed the prize. And they only have until April 21st to do it.
So why haven’t they done it yet? You might think it’s because they’re not ready for their life to change . . . but in South Carolina, winners can choose to stay anonymous.
So sadly, it seems like the most likely scenario is they don’t know they won.
And the state of South Carolina is REALLY upset about that, since they were on track to get about $61 million in taxes from that jackpot.
If no one claims the jackpot before the deadline, ALL the states that participate in
Mega Millions will get a piece, based on how many tickets they sold.

TODAY’S GOOD NEWS
There’s a high school junior near Denver named Andrew Regan who has Down syndrome. But he’s also an athlete.
His high school has a “unified” basketball team, where differently abled kids play together in a less competitive environment. Which is awesome.
A video of Andrew is going viral after he snagged a rebound in a game last Friday . . . and hit a buzzer beater from HALF COURT. His teammates and coaches went nuts. It was only the third quarter, so it wasn’t a game winner. But it’s the kind of thing most of us dream of doing. And he got to do it for real.
It wasn’t just luck either. A friend who volunteers on the team says Andrew practices that shot all the time in his driveway. So when he drained it in the game, it didn’t really surprise him that much.
Andrew’s been loving all the attention this week. The local news interviewed him, and he took time out to thank people for all the likes he’s been getting on Twitter.
