On Today’s Show
March 27, 2019 9:35 amThere’s one guy left on the planet with a perfect March Madness bracket. He’s picked 48 games correctly . . . the first person ever to do it. The odds…. One in 281-trillion.
His name is Greg Nigl, he’s 40, he’s a neuropsychologist, and he lives in Columbus, Ohio. He filled it out as part of a small contest with friends, and almost didn’t do it before the deadline because he was sick. He didn’t even realize it was perfect until an NCAA reporter called him Monday. But he watches a ton of college basketball, so it’s not a total fluke. He has Gonzaga to win it.

‘Cow cuddling’ seems to be the hot new wellness trend. That’s right, people are paying to spend quality time relaxing in a field or a barn with cows. And horses. You might know that it is a fact that humans can decrease their stress levels by interacting with animals. A farm in upstate New York has a program offering the ‘Horse & Cow Experience,’ where people can spend time connecting with the animals. You can pet them, brush them, play with them, or simply cuddle. You can book a cow-cuddling appointment at 60-minutes for $75, or go for the complete “Horse & Cow Experience” at $300 for a 90-minute session.

ENTERTAINMENT
On Saturday, KEANU REEVES was on a commercial flight from San Francisco to L.A., when it was diverted due to a, quote, “mechanical indication.”
Fortunately, the plane landed safely at a remote airport in Bakersfield, California . . . but unfortunately, the passengers were still more than 100 miles away from their destination.
A lot of celebrities might duck away and make their own travel plans, but NOT Keanu. He immediately started organizing a van ride to Burbank for anyone who was interested.
Then, once the road-trip started, Keanu entertained the other passengers by . . . using his phone to read facts about Bakersfield and play country music. He also said goodbye to passengers as they were dropped off.

Guy Has to Cancel His Bachelor Party When Best Man Embezzles the $10,000 Budget
There’s a 28-year-old guy named Ben Winchip from Swindon, England, and he’s getting married next month. And for the past year, he and his friends have been planning a massive bachelor party in Las Vegas.
They all kicked in around $900 each, for a total of about $10,000, and handed it over to Ben’s best man to handle everything.
But . . . it turns out the best man EMBEZZLED all of the cash and didn’t plan anything. And the cops just arrested him for fraud.
As for Ben, he says now he and his OTHER friends are going to be doing an exponentially less epic bachelor party . . . one night out at a bar in Newcastle, England.
Ben’s mom also set up a GoFundMe . . . and even though “cool bachelor party” isn’t exactly the biggest hook to get people to donate, so far it’s raised almost $2,000.

Hot Air Balloon Thief Is Busted Flying the Stolen Balloon at a Hot Air Balloon Festival
Hot air balloon theft is a pretty UNCOMMON crime . . . and this is why. Those balloons have distinct patterns on them. And they’re huge. So when you fly your stolen balloon, you REALLY give yourself away.
Someone stole a $30,000 hot air balloon from a guy in Bloomington, Indiana earlier this year.
And the thief was just busted . . . after flying it at a hot air balloon festival.
The festival was in Florida, and the cops there got a tip from the police in Indiana to keep their eyes out for the balloon. They also sent over a photo of what it looks like.
So the cops in Florida scoured the festival and spotted it.
The owner of the balloon decided not to press charges against the thief . . . he just wanted his balloon back. And a tow company is going to drive it back to Indiana for him.

RANDOM REPORT
- A full day on Saturn is just 10 hours, 33 minutes, and 38 seconds long.
- A few scenes in “There’s Something About Mary”were filmed in Plantation, Florida . . . but when the city council found out what the movie was about, they asked NOT to be included in the credits.
- John Chapman . . . a.k.a. Johnny Appleseed. . . didn’t plant apple trees for people to eat. He planted them so people could make alcoholic cider.
- In the 1800s in Austria, single women would put an apple slice in their armpit during dances. At the end of the night, when it was nice and sweaty, they’d give it to the guy they liked. And if he felt that way about the woman, he’d EAT it.

THINGS YOUR MECHANIC WISHES YOU WOULD STOP DOING:
➢ Ignoring the “check engine” light: Doing so never pays. Get it checked before the problem causes more damage.
➢ Waiting too long on routine maintenance: Follow the guidelines in your manual, and avoid the major expenses that can come with not changing oil, coolant and other fluids on time.
➢ Ignoring unusual noises: Vehicles in good condition don’t make squealing, screeching, grinding, rumbling, clicking or clunking sounds
➢ Driving on worn tires: Low tread depth greatly increases your chances of getting into a crash…which can cost you big-time.
➢ Ignoring oily wet stains on your driveway: That’s a sign that the engine, power-steering, brakes, or transmission are leaking (and as a result, the fluid levels are low).
➢ Bringing your own parts: Some people buy parts online and expect the shop to install them for just the cost of labor.
QUESTION…. Do you always go to the same mechanic?

EATING MEDITERRANEAN TONIGHT?
A committee of scientists from 16 countries recently got together to determine what would be the best diet for humans to adopt with the idea of keeping ourselves…and our planet as healthy as possible. What did they come up with?
Something called the “Planetary Health Diet”, which involves a shift away from processed food and red meat and toward a diet centered on plants. But NOT vegetarianism. Their proposed diet is similar to the Mediterranean diet, which involves more whole grains, lots of fruit and veggies, and less starch and sugar. Its daily calories come mainly from rice, wheat, and corn, unsaturated oils like olive oil, and a little bit of dairy. As far as meat goes, it encourages lean choices like chicken and fish.
They say if most of the world ate this way, it would help alleviate six sustainability issues associated with agriculture, including climate change, biodiversity collapse, and water usage. It could also meet the needs of the growing global population, unlike our current patterns.

- All charges were dropped against JUSSIE SMOLLETTyesterday . . . not because they think he’s innocent. Prosecutors said they took into account Jussie’s “volunteer service in the community and agreement to forfeit his bond to the City of Chicago.” But Jussie continues to claim he’s innocent.

- A guy in Massachusetts recently bought a 74-inch flat screen TV on Amazon, and got it in the mail . . along with an 84-inch TV he didn’t pay for. So he kept both, and got arrested for it last week. He says Amazon told him it was fine, and he never heard from the company that fulfilled the order. But they say they called him five times.

ASHTON KUTCHER A FAN OF THOMAS RHETT
Thomas Rhett can count actor Ashton Kutcher and his actress wife, Mila Kunis, among his countless fans. The two first met when Thomas played the Stagecoach Festival in Southern California, which is a festival Ashton attends frequently. [“I played Stagecoach in L.A., or in Indio or whatever part of California that’s in, and he was there with his wife. And I found out that he goes to Stagecoach every year, brings like a camper and does it, just camps out for all four nights, and from that we kind of spurred a relationship. And I remember him and his wife Mila Kunis, which is crazy, invited me and Lauren to dinner one night in L.A.. And we’re sitting there going, ‘Are we seriously about to go to dinner with them?’ Like, this is nuts and just one of those things where before we walked in we’re like crossing our fingers like please be as cool as we think you are. And we walked in and just immediately hit it off and we’ve gotten to become decently close with them. But I never in a million years would’ve dreamed that one of my favorite actors would have been a fan of mine without ever meeting him before.”]
He also revealed that his new album will be called Center Point Road, and it will be released on May 31st.
DUSTIN LYNCH HAS FOUND HIMSELF A ‘GOOD GIRL’ – (03/27/2019)
Dustin Lynch sings about wanting a “good girl,” and according to him, he’s found her! He revealed that he’s been dating a special someone despite his busy schedule.[“Well, I guess I have found me a good girl. I’m having fun with this new stage of hanging out and it’s exciting and it’s a lot of fun, so that’s where I’m at. I guess I am living these songs right now. I should go ride some roads “]
Of course, Dustin is referring to his brand new single, “Ridin’ Roads,” which speaks to driving around and spending time with the one you love.
He recently released a three-song EP also called Ridin’ Roads.
Dustin will spend the summer and fall touring with Thomas Rhett on his Very Hot Summer Tour, which kicks off in May.
