If you open a gate, that’s considered an invitation inside. A man who lives in Lincoln, California, opened the gate of his garden to look at the sheep gathering outside of it. But he was soon overrun by them.
He caught the moment on video, and notes, “The local government hires sheep to clear overgrowth in our city. When they were in the greenbelt behind our house one evening doing their job, I opened our back gate [so my daughters could get] a closer look of the animals.”
The sheep slowly started coming into his yard, and soon there were an estimated 200 there. Eventually his wife began jumping on a trampoline in the backyard while playing the tambourine which got the sheep to leave the way they came.

STRANGER OFFERS TO PAY FOR PROM DINNER IF TEENS DON’T LOOK AT PHONES:
Eleven California high schoolers were offered a free prom dinner if they met one condition.
As the teenagers sat down to enjoy a dinner, the waiter approached them with a deal. A complete stranger offered to pay for their whole meal if they didn’t look at their cell phones the entire time.
The friends agreed and gave their phones to the waiter, who held onto them until the dinner was finished.
After the meal, an older gentleman came to the students’ table and told them “he thought they were a beautiful group and it reminded him of when he was young,” which is why he paid for their meals.

ERIC CHURCH EXPLAINS THE MEANING BEHIND ‘THE SNAKE’ – (04/11/2019)
One of the most talked about performances during Sunday’s (April 7th) ACM Awards was the collaboration between Eric Church and Ashley McBryde on “The Snake,” a cut on Eric’s Desperate Man album. Eric tells us the song is his commentary on politics in general. [“‘The Snake’ is really a song that was written about this political discourse, battle. Full disclosure, by nature I’m just not a very political person. I find it somewhat silly. I feel like in order to be a career politician, you have to keep your base riled up and the best way to rile up your base is to attack the other side, and the other side does the same thing. So, this song really came from whichever side you want to paint is a copperhead, and whichever other side you want to paint is a rattlesnake.”] SOUNDCUE (:31 OC: . . . is a rattlesnake.)
