TODAY’S GOOD NEWS
There’s a two-year-old girl in Florida named Harper Comparin who was born with severe spina bifida. So her parents didn’t know if she’d ever be able to walk.
But now she is . . . and the song “Baby Shark” played a big part in it.
A doctor named Michelle Schultz has been working with her at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg.
And she wanted to get her up and moving. So she decided to see if “Baby Shark” would help.
Whenever it comes on, Harper gets all excited. And they use it kind of like a metronome, where she has to walk to the beat.
She could only take a few steps at first. And her parents say even that was amazing.
But now she’s tooling all over the place, and getting stronger every day.

KENNY CHESNEY DEDICATES BBMA WIN TO NO SHOES NATION – (05/03/2019)
Kenny Chesney was named Top Country Tour at the Billboard Music Awards last Wednesday.
He played 19 stadiums across 41 concert dates on his 2018 Trip Around the Sun Tour.
Kenny is currently in the midst of his Songs for the Saints 2019 arena tour, playing in towns he hasn’t been able to get to in years due to his larger stadium shows.
[“The fans out there, they hear on the radio they were coming to town, in some cases six months ahead so they’ve been anticipating that moment, and we’ve been anticipating that moment, and all of a sudden there we are. We get to connect, and some nights it’s very special, and some nights it’s out of this world, and some nights it feels like an out-of-body experience that you’re so caught up in that moment and those are the nights that you don’t ever want to end.”]
CARRIE UNDERWOOD’S FAMILY ADJUSTING TO LIFE ON TOUR WITH A ‘ROCKSTAR’ – (05/06/2019)
Carrie Underwood closed out the first week on her Cry Pretty Tour 360 on Saturday (May 4th) in Little Rock, Arkansas, and her family was definitely along for the ride. Her husband, Mike Fisher, and young sons Isaiah, 4, and three-month-old Jacob, accompanied Carrie on the run.
This is just the beginning of life on the road for this family of four, but Carrie says she’s ready to roll with the punches. [“It’s going to be interesting having both of them on the road. The last time we were out on tour, Isaiah was 11 months old and perfectly content hanging out on the bus and this time, I feel like he’s going to be, I don’t know. He’ll either love it or be a holy terror to everyone (laughs), everyone else. You just figure out life and make up rules as you go along. That’s what we’re gonna keep doing.”]
Carrie’s new single is called “Southbound,” the song with which she opens the Cry Pretty Tour 360.
