An Australian family (a father and two daughters) who asked to remain anonymous, were out with their dog, coincidentally named “Lucky,” when they came across A GOLD NUGGET.

The Father said “I actually walked right past it but my daughter kicked it as she was walking,”. “She then goes, ‘Dad, is this gold?’ I said, ‘I think it might be.’”

He said they weighed the nugget at a nearby supermarket, as they couldn’t find anywhere to properly weight it. The gold nugget weighed 20 ounces, or 1.25 pounds — a value that could be worth upwards of $24,000 USD. “We’ve come on some tough times so it’s really good because we’ve been struggling financially. It couldn’t be better timing really.”

Dale Earnhardt Jr. was a smoker for YEARS, and like everyone else, he struggled to quit for good.  At its peak, he was going through a pack and a half every day.  And he KNEW it was bad for him.  Now he’s participating in a campaign promoting Nicorette.

It’s unclear if he actually used Nicorette when he was quitting, but he’s passionate about getting others to stop.

Seven Foods You Shouldn’t Put in the Freezer

  1. Cooked pasta.  It gets really soggy when it thaws out.  So you’re better off making less, so you can leave it in the fridge and eat all the leftovers in a few days.

  1. Coffee.  Taking it in and out of the freezer creates condensation, which affects the taste.  It’s okay if it’s unopened.  But once you open a can, leave it at room temperature.

  1. Milk.  Freezing and thawing it makes it lumpy.  It’s still fine to use in recipes if you thaw it out in the fridge for a day.  It’s just not great to drink.

  1. Eggs.  Especially in the shell, because the liquid inside expands.  Then they can crack, and cause bacteria to grow.

  1. Avocados.  It ruins the texture.  And a good creamy texture is key with avocados.  The same thing applies for potatoes.  Putting them in the freezer OR the fridge makes them grainier.

  1. Meat that was frozen, then thawed.  By that point, it’s already started to grow bacteria.  And freezing it again won’t kill it.  So it could make you sick.

  1. Anything carbonated.  The cold will kill some of the carbonation.  And the can or bottle could also explode in there and cause a mess.  It’s okay to put some beer or soda in there for 20 or 30 minutes, just to get it cold faster.  Just don’t let it freeze.

ERIC CHURCH’S NEW VIDEO FILMED AT ‘THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION’ PRISON –

ERIC CHURCH broke the attendance record at Nashville’s Nissan Stadium on Saturday. There were 56,521 people . . . and Eric.  He was the first solo headliner to perform there without an opening act.

He even gave the audience a bonus when he debuted the new video to his song, SOME OF IT

If  the prison featured in the video for “Some Of It,” looks familiar it’s because it was the setting of the movie The Shawshank Redemption. It is actually the Ohio State Reformatory located in Mansfield, OH.
Reformatory associate director Dan Smith told Richland Source that Eric’s interest in using the prison stemmed from his fandom of The Shawshank Redemption.

The “Some Of It” vide was released over the weekend. In the clip, Eric is imprisoned for bootlegging music, a follow-up to his video for “Desperate Man.”

BRETT ELDREDGE IS ‘GETTING MORE COMFORTABLE WITH THIS WHOLE LIFE OF MUSIC’ –

Brett Eldredge is gearing up for a busy month of tour dates, playing both headlining shows and fairs and festivals. While on the road, Brett has changed the way he spends his hours leading up to showtime. While he used to keep to himself, Brett tells he takes the opportunity to bond with his band and crew. [“We’ll play dodge ball, we’ll play wiffle ball, we’ll go on hikes and then me and the crew, we created like a speakeasy backstage where it’s a fun environment to go tell stories after the show, before the show, and maybe have a drink and I think a lot of time I would get used to just get done with the show and go on the bus and get in bed or just get in my comfort zone, and now I’m trying to expand my comfort zone. I’m getting more comfortable with this whole life of music, and I’ve always loved it but I’m loving it a lot more now.”]

Next up for Brett is the Taste of Country Music Festival in Hunter, NY on June 9th. He’ll share the bill with Little Big Town, Michael Ray, Lindsay Ell, and Adam Doleac.
