The World Health Organization just officially classified work BURN OUT as a new disease.

That means that by 2022, doctors will be able to diagnose burn out . . . and, in theory, they’ll prescribe treatments that insurance companies should cover.

So what is burn out?  The official definition is, quote, “chronic workplace stress that has not been successfully managed.”

And the three symptoms are:  Exhaustion . . . feeling negative, cynical, or detached from your job . . . and less efficiency and effectiveness at work.

A “Blue’s Clues” reboot is on the way, and Nickelodeon has released the first teaser for a new generation of young fans. The reboot comes with a new host, a new animation style and new adventures for today’s growing toddlers. The new host goes by the name of Josh, and he brings the same exuberance as Steve and Joe did to the original series. The teaser also shows the series’ prodigal puppy, Blue, who appears to be an amination/CGI creation. “Blue’s Clue’s & You” is coming to Nick Jr. in November. The original program, “Blue’s Clues” was one of Nickelodeon’s biggest hits with young viewers from 1996 to 2006.

TODAY’S GOOD NEWS

Braxton Moralis 17 years old, and lives in a tiny town in southwest Kansas.  And this month, he’s graduating from high school AND college at the same time.

And not just any college . . . HARVARD.

He skipped the fourth grade when he was younger, but still felt bored at school.  So his parents enrolled him in some classes at a few local universities.

And when he was 11, they signed him up for classes through Harvard’s extension program.  So he could take classes online too.

He graduated from high school this past Sunday.  And he’ll get his bachelor’s degree from Harvard next Thursday.  Then he plans to go to law school.

Obviously he’s not the first kid-genius to graduate from Harvard early.  But usually, those kids leave high school early, and he didn’t.

It turns out he’s the first person to ever successfully pursue a four-year high school degree and a bachelor’s degree from Harvard at the same time.

ELDERLY BRITISH DRIVER INTENDS TO GO TO ROME, ENDS UP IN GERMANY

An 81-year-old man traveling from his home in Newcastle, England, to Rome, Italy to see the Pope ended up in Germany after blindly following his satellite navigation system.

It turns out the traveler accidentally entered the details for the district of “Rom,” part of a small rural community in a western German state. The driver even stopped once his navigation system claimed he had arrived, confused, and stepped out of his car.

But he forgot to put on his handbrake, and his car rolled away and ended up knocking down the sign for Rom.

Police were called to investigate. Lucky for him, his detour only added around two hours of travel time to his journey.

Pizza Is a Healthier Breakfast than Cereal, Nutritionists Say

According to New York-based nutritionist Chelsey Amer, a slice of pizza for breakfast is better for you than your favorite breakfast cereal. So, it could be time for us all to rethink our a.m. eating habits—and to celebrate.

Amer credits the high sugar content in most cereals for its poor reputation, while The Daily Meal adds the lack of protein and healthy fats are contributing to its “nutritionally bleak” standing. “You may be surprised to find out that an average slice of pizza and a bowl of cereal with whole milk contain nearly the same amount of calories,”

Amer said. “However, pizza packs a much larger protein punch, which will keep you full and boost satiety throughout the morning.”

  1. A young girl was struck by a foul ball hit by Cubs outfielder ALBERT ALMORA JR. She was taken to the hospital, and Almora was seriously shaken up.

A photo taken by The Associated Press showed the girl conscious and crying as she was whisked away. Sources told ESPN that the initial report on the girl’s condition was positive.

It took several minutes for Almora, who appeared to be crying, to compose himself and continue the at-bat, and players from both teams also appeared shaken up by the scene.

After the fourth inning, Almora, who still appeared upset, approached a security guard in the stands near where the girl was sitting and spoke to the guard before the two embraced. He said he was updated on the girl’s condition.

CHRIS STAPLETON AND WIFE’S NEWEST ADDITION IS A BOY – (05/30/2019)

Chris Stapleton and his wife, Morgane, welcomed a baby boy earlier this month. Morgane just revealed the baby’s gender on Instagram sharing the first picture of the baby and writing, “Sweet boy … It’s hard to believe almost a month has already gone by. Time flies faster than I ever thought imaginable. My heart is so full!”

Last year, the couple welcomed twin boys, who joined their older siblings, a brother and a sister. The Stapleton’s have never revealed their kids names or ages, something Chris tells us he will forever protect. [“You know, I signed up for this. My children did not and so in that respect I keep my children out of it. They’re children and they deserve the chance to be children so for me, I’m very protective of that, and, you know, my wife comes out and also she’s an adult and chooses to come out and be in the public eye. My children did not, and so access to that is, for me, kind of off limits.”]

Chris is featured on pop star Pink‘s new album Hurts 2B Human. They duet on a song called “Love Me Anyway.”

Brantley Gilbert Is Loving the Same TV Shows as His Little Boy

BRANTLEY GILBERT has been watching a lot of kid’s shows these days . . . thanks to his 18-month-old son, Barrett.

And the boy has good taste.  Brantley says, quote, “What’s funny is like the animated movies and stuff . . . I love ’em.  They’re pretty good nowadays.  He loves ‘Puppy Dog Pals’, he loves Mickey, he likes ‘Paw Patrol’.”

But here’s a twist.  Brantley feels his son does NOT watch enough TV.  Barrett’s always bugging mom and dad to go outside, which cuts into Brantley’s TV time.

Quote, “He’d rather stand on the windowsill and look out the window than sit in front of the TV.  When the songs come on he’ll go over there and stomp his foot and look at the TV, but when the song goes off, he’s over it.  He’s ready to go outside.”

The good news for Brantley is that more kid’s TV shows will be coming his way.  He and his wife Amber are expecting a baby girl in September.
