A photo of a fish with TWO MOUTHS is making the rounds online.  A woman caught it while fishing on Lake Champlain in upstate New York, then took a few photos and released it.  And her co-worker shared the photos on Facebook.  (If you don’t know, in season two of The Simpsons, Bart catches a three-eyed fish in a pond close to the nuclear facility.)

Chances are that no one is really happy about climate change, but if you think it’s just people who are mad about it, think again. A new study says that extreme weather conditions could be making populations of spiders angry. Researchers from McMaster University in Hamilton found that after a tropical cyclone, colonies with the most aggressive spiders produced more eggs and had more offspring that survived. This trend was so consistent that the researchers think it must be an evolutionary response to climate change to ensure their survival and creates more aggressive types of spiders.

GOOD NEWS

A group of firemen near St. Louis recently helped a woman in a wheelchair after they saw her tip over trying to get into her home.

Her house wasn’t wheelchair accessible.  So she had to wheel herself through the front yard, then make it up multiple steps to get in.

Luckily she wasn’t hurt.  But they knew it would happen again.  So a bunch of firemen went back to her house a few days later with shovels and concrete and built her a PATH.

They dug out part of the front yard to make it even, then poured cement . . . made a path all the way from the sidewalk to her front porch . . . and put in a ramp for her.

The most amazing part is none of them were on the clock.  They did it over the weekend in their off-time, and weren’t paid.  That’s how much they cared.

Woman Reports Her Car Stolen . . . While She’s Driving It in a Police Chase

There’s a 20-year-old woman named Rachel Thornburg in Clinton, Iowa.  And she called 911 to report her 1998 Buick Century had been stolen.

But . . . that was a lie.  Because Rachel was driving that car in a high-speed POLICE CHASE at the time.

Apparently, a cop had clocked her speeding and tried to pull her over . . . but she took off.  And as the cops were chasing her, she came up with the idea to report the car stolen so they’d think someone else was driving.

But that genius plan blew up when the cops laid down spikes on the road which popped her tires . . . and they saw Rachel was the driver.

She was charged with eluding, driving with a suspended license, reckless driving, and speeding.  There’s no word on whether she’ll also be facing charges for filing a false report.

A Driver Throws a Dirty Diaper Out the Window . . . and Hits a Cop Car

A guy was driving on the interstate in Johnson County, in central Indiana and he threw his baby’s DIRTY DIAPER out of his car window.

And . . . the diaper hit a COP CAR.

The cop immediately pulled the guy over and saw a baby in the backseat.  The guy wouldn’t admit that he threw the diaper out of the window, though . . . he said the wind had blown it out.

I’m not sure how that works, but the cop gave the guy a ticket for littering.

GILLIGAN WAS ON TO SOMETHING:
If you’ve never quite found the perfect bed, or maybe even you haven’t found the perfect sleeping position, you might want to go have a look in the backyard.

A growing body of research that says the simple, ancient hammock may be the most ingenious bed humans have ever created.

Modern science shows that the hammock can be credited with putting you to sleep faster, and keeps you in a deep sleep longer. Hammocks also provide what some researchers call the ideal sleeping position, with the head elevated 10-30%.

Hammocks are also recommended by many chiropractors, orthopaedic surgeons and other doctors to alleviate back pain. And if that weren’t enough, swaying in a hammock is said to improve memory, and as a result improve reading and learning.

MIDLAND’S NEW ALBUM REPRESENTS ‘EVOLUTION’

Midland will release their sophomore album, called Let It Roll, tomorrow (Friday, August 23rd). Lead singer Mark Wystrach tells us the project is both a continuation and an evolution of their first album, 2017’s On the Rocks[“From On the Rocks, we’ve all three, as individuals, have grown.  As musicians and songwriters, we’ve grown, which comes from living, which comes from practicing, which comes from playing and experiencing.  And that’s what Let It Roll is to us, I think, it’s a continuation but it’s an evolution, and I think that’s what you’re seeing in the songs.”]

Let It Roll features Midland’s current hit, “Mr. Lonely.”

The band will kick off their Let It Roll Tour on September 17th in New York City.

FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE ARE ‘ENJOYING THE CREATIVE PROCESS’

Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley of Florida Georgia Line met and forged their friendship while students at Nashville’s Belmont University where they were both pursuing degrees in Music Business. Their time at Belmont certainly put them on the path to a successful music career, but as Tyler tells us, there was really no plan for putting his degree to work.[“Naw, not really. I mean, I think we both knew we wanted to be songwriters and kind of had a one-track mind at that age. At times I think it’d be fun to be some sort of designer or architect. Actually, about every year I think of another hobby that could turn into a career, that if this music thing weren’t our life what we’d be doing, but I think that’s just part of being creative and really enjoying the creative process.”)

Besides their music, including their Top 10 hit, “Talk You Out of It,” Florida Georgia Line’s Brian and Tyler have branched out to co-own the FGL House bar/restaurant in Nashville, Old Camp Whiskey, and most recently, their own record label, Round Here Records, among other things.

FAST FACTS

FGL’s Can’t Say I Ain’t Country Tour rolls on to West Palm Beach, Tampa and Atlanta this week with special guest Dan + Shay.

They’ll perform at their headlining FGL Fest at Indianapolis Motor Speedway on September 7th.
