September 10, 2019 9:35 amA vegan woman in Australia is suing her neighbors in Supreme Court because they grill meat too much, especially fish. She can’t stand the smell and says it forces her to stay inside. Here she is talking about it, along with a lawyer who says things tend to get complicated when you take your neighbors to court.
“What they’re doing is living in their backyard and their home as a family,” the State Administrative Tribunal of Western Australia said, dismissing the case once more.
The tribunal also stated that the neighbours made an effort to appease Carden by moving their barbecue prior to the hearing last month.
Reducing patio lighting, silencing their pets and replacing plants in their common garden, were just some of the woman’s requests and they also asked their kids to stop playing basketball in the backyard. Now, nearly 9,000 people have marked themselves as “attending” a community bbq outside this woman’s home October 19th.

A Nebraska maid of honor showed up to her sister’s wedding dressed as a dinosaur after the bridal party was given free rein over what they wanted to wear. “When you’re maid of honor and told you can wear anything you choose … I regret nothing,” wrote Christina Meador alongside a Facebook photo of her wearing a T-Rex costume last month.
The photo — which shows her towering over the bridal party in the costume — has since gone viral. Fortunately, the bride appeared to take her sister’s interesting choice of outfit in stride. “My sister is awesome and I genuinely was not kidding when I said she could wear whatever she wanted,” Deanna Adams said.

Elisabeth Moss wants to continue her lead role in “The Handmaid’s Tale” in a TV series based on Margaret Atwood’s upcoming sequel. Atwood released “The Testaments” on September 10th, as the follow-up to her seminal 1985 novel “The Handmaid’s Tale”, which was adapted into the acclaimed TV series starring Moss. And despite the events of the new book taking place 15 years after the original, Moss hopes there is a place for her in a TV sequel.

GOOD NEWS
Young people have really entered the fray and started voicing their opinions the last few years. But this is REALLY young . . .
A six-year-old girl in Arkansas named Vivian Lord recently sent a letter to a bunch of toy companies, because a set of little green “Army men” she got didn’t have any WOMEN.
She said her friend’s mom was in the Army. So she didn’t get why all the toys were men. And if they made ones that looked like women, she’d play with them every day.
And one of the toy companies that got her letter actually listened.
Jeff Imel owns a small toy company in Scranton, Pennsylvania called BMC Toys. And he’s actually doing it.
After he read Vivian’s letter, he designed some female Army toys. And he’s going to release a whole set of them.
He just posted photos of some mock-ups this week. And they’ll be out next year, just in time for Christmas.

Five Chores We Hate and Fight Over the Most
According to a new survey, 80% of people say they get into fights or arguments about doing chores. And from that group, about one in five say those arguments happen a LOT.
Here are the five chores we hate and fight over the most . . .
- Washing the dishes and cleaning the kitchen.
- Doing laundry.
- Cleaning the bathroom, including the toilet.
- Sweeping and vacuuming.
- Cooking meals and grocery shopping.
The survey also found the average person spends 690 hours a year on housework, which comes out to around 13 hours a week.

Want to Make a Habit Stick? Try the Two-Day Rule
There’s a YouTuber named Matt D’Avella who’s a self-described minimalist. So he likes keeping things simple. And a video about a method he uses called the Two-Day Rule has been blowing up online.
He used to be really scrawny, and couldn’t pack on any muscle. Mostly because he couldn’t stay motivated and KEEP going to the gym.
So he made a rule that he was never allowed to skip two days in a row.
For some reason, it worked for him. He’s stuck with it for over a decade, with a few cheat days here and there. And it could work with any new habit, not just exercise.
The one drawback is your off days won’t ALWAYS be on the same day. Since there are seven days in a week, the math doesn’t work. So if you skip Sunday one week, you might end up skipping Monday the next week.
If you like to schedule things so they’re always on specific days, it might not work for you. But that also might be WHY it works. Because you end up incorporating it more fully into your life, instead of only dedicating specific days to it.

Last night’s “Monday Night Football” double-header started off with a nail-biter as the New Orleans Saints beat the Houston Texans, 30 to 28. The Texans had scored a go-ahead TD with less than a minute to play, but Drew Brees and the Saints were able to make it to field goal range and left it up to Wil Lutz to attempt his longest ever field goal. He had missed one earlier in the game. Here’s how it ended.
In the later game the Oakland Raiders beat the Denver Broncos 24 – 16

KOBE BRYANT.
And it sounds like their team is MUCH more intense than a typical middle school team . . . because they just ran up the score to get REVENGE on a team that beat them two years ago.
Kobe posted a photo of the girls celebrating an 88-POINT win. The score was 115 to 27. He captioned it, quote, “Two years ago, we lost to the same team 22 to 21.

LUKE BRYAN FANS ARE DANCING TO HIS ‘CATCHY’ HIT SONG
Luke Bryan is closing in on the top of the country charts with his latest hit, “Knockin’ Boots,” a fun, summertime song that seems to have fans dancing in the aisles at his concerts. He tells us: [“One of the most things that I’m hearing is it’s very, very, very catchy. I think it’s just a fun, catchy song. I like to think of some songs as are you gonna want to be out on a boat dancing and having fun out on the lake. It’s one of those songs. You know, it’s a big ole fun uptempo, and every and then when I find the right kind of uptempo, certainly on the heels of a summer tour – the Sunset Repeat Tour – it’s fun having it out there and watching the fans dancing in the aisles.”]
Luke takes his Sunset Repeat Tour, featuring Cole Swindell and Jon Langston, to Toronto on Thursday (September 5th).
Luke’s annual Farm Tour begins on September 26th in Marshall, WI and runs through October 5th in Norman, OK.
JASON ALDEAN TO RELEASE ALBUM ‘9’ IN NOVEMBER
Jason Aldean‘s new album, called 9, will be released on November 22nd. The project is now available for pre-order at all digital retailers, immediately giving fans access to four new songs off the upcoming album.
Despite the trend to only release singles, Jason tells us he loves the process of making whole albums and can’t imagine only offering one new song at a time. [“I enjoy making albums. I enjoy all that stuff. I enjoy getting in the studio, getting in a groove when you’re in there cutting eight songs in two days and you kind of get locked into stuff. I don’t know how you do that. You go in every few months and cut one song? Like, that just sounds like it sucks, you know what I mean? That’s not the way I would like to make music. It’s not why I got into it, so my plan is to make albums as long as I feel like people want to hear ’em and if they get to a point where they don’t then maybe I stop making them. Maybe I make like little EPs.”]
Jason’s 2019 Ride All Night Tour will wrap at the Texas’ Rangers Globe Life Park stadium on Oct. 11th before returning to Las Vegas, December 6-8 for Jason Aldean: Ride All Night Vegas at Park Theater at Park MGM.
