RANDOM REPORT
- The U.S. is the third most populous country in the world, behind China and India. But China and India are SO far ahead in population that if you added one billion more people to the U.S., they’d STILL be third.
- Benand Jerry became friends in middle school when their gym class had to run around the track and they were the two slowest.
- The country Myanmar doesn’t use the metric system or the Imperial system that they use in the U.S. They have their own system, the Burmese units of measurement.
- “Wheel of Fortune”brings in more money from political TV ads than any other show. A ton of people watch it, and their average age is over 65 . . . which is exactly who candidates want to target.

GOOD NEWS
A 23-year-old guy named James Barsby was born at Queen’s Park Hospital in northern England in 1995. And a little girl named Amy Gaffney was born a few hours later.
So they were born at the same hospital on the same day. And now 23 years later . . . they just got MARRIED.
They grew up a few miles from each other, but weren’t really friends until high school. Then they started dating, and they’ve been together about eight years now.
They also both happen to be twins, which is weird. James and his brother Christian were born. Then Amy and her brother William were born about five hours later.
James and Amy got married this month in the same church where her parents AND grandparents were married. Then a few days later, they both graduated from college.
Amy says the only downside to the whole thing is they have the same birthday. So they don’t really get their OWN day each year. But she says it’s a small price to pay.

The Most Popular Way to Order a Steak Is . . . Well Done?
According to a new survey, believe it or not, the most popular way to order steaks is well done.
24% of people say it’s their favorite way to order. It just beat out medium-rare, which got 23% of the vote.
16% go medium-well . . . 13% pick medium . . . 11% want rare . . . and 2% order BLUE RARE, which is even rarer than rare. Women are almost 50% more likely to order a steak well done than men.

STUDY: LISTENING TO THIS ONE SOUND WILL MAKE YOU 30 PERCENT MORE RELAXED
Life ultimately comes with stress, but you can chill out fast if you listen to woodland sounds.
The National Trust in England found listening to the sounds of birds and leaves rustling calmed people down more than listening to a guided meditation, or silence. Participants who listened to the woodland sounds felt 30 percent more relaxed, and said their stress and anxiety levels dropped by 25 and 20 percent, respectively.
Coming in second place was the guided meditation, which was only slightly less effective at helping participants feel more at ease, and silence offered just a tiny improvement. It’s thought people got the biggest benefit from hearing the sounds of the forest because we generally associate the sounds with peace, freedom, and beauty.

‘THE STARS ALIGNED’ FOR LATEST CARRIE UNDERWOOD HIT
Carrie Underwood co-wrote her latest hit, “Southbound,” with her Cry Pretty album co-producer, David Garcia, and one of his frequent co-writers. At that time in the recording process, Carrie says she really needed a song with some tempo, and while it’s difficult to fill that specific order sometimes in the confines of one writing session, she tells us things just worked out perfectly. [“I kind of loosely went in with David and I’d written with Josh Miller before but never the three of us together, and so we go in and he kind of had this fun music going, some track, and I had the title ‘Southbound,’ and that’s just what it ended up being, so it’s like the stars aligned. We got what we wanted to write that day and we also got tempo. It’s a lot of fun!”]
Carrie will be honored as one of CMT’s Artists of the Year on October 16th in Nashville. The 90-minute special will air live beginning at 8 p.m. ET.
JASON ALDEAN LAUNCHES ‘WE BACK TOUR’ IN JANUARY
Jason Aldean will kick off the new year with a new tour. The 2020 We Back Tour launches on Jan. 30th in Columbia, SC. He has tapped direct support Morgan Wallen, along with Riley
As with his previous live shows, Jason tells us that fans can expect a night to remember on the 2020 We Back Tour. [“I hope that people by now — anybody that’s ever come out to one of our shows — by now they know what they’re gonna get. I don’t stand up there and do a lot of talking, chit-chat, that kind of stuff. I mean, I don’t feel that’s what people come to . . . They don’t come to hear me talk, you know what I’m saying, so they come out, we’re gonna try to play as may songs as we can play. I’m not gonna sit up there and waste a lot of time, and we’re gonna try to keep it moving, keep it fun, and people come out to shows to have a good time and dance and sing and do all that stuff, and we try to just give them an outlet to do that and sort of steer the ship and try to make sure they have as much fun as possible. They know that when the show’s over I’m gonna be exhausted, you know, cause I’m gonna try to go out there and give it everything I’ve got, and hopefully by now anybody that’s been to our shows knows that it’s gonna be loud and it’s gonna be fun, and that’s what we want.”]
The new tour is named after Jason’s brand new single, “We Back,” the debut single from his upcoming album, 9. The project will be released on November 22nd.
