There are a few caffeinated waters already on the market by smaller name brands, but this is the first product of its kind for Nestle. “Customers are telling us that they’re kind of in an energy crisis, that they need a boost and are looking for help with hydration but sometimes water doesn’t cut it, she said: They need that morning or afternoon burst of energy to keep them going, so this is really based on the idea of gentle caffeine.”

James “Radio” Kennedy, the inspiration for the 2003 Cuba Gooding Jr. film “Radio,” died early Sunday at age 73. Harold Jones, the former football coach, confirmed Kennedy’s death. The 2003 film centered on the relationship between Jones and Kennedy, a young man with intellectual disabilities and an infectious smile who had long been drawn to Hanna’s football program since showing up on the field as a teenager in the mid-1960s. He gained the nickname “Radio” for the transistor radio he kept with him at all times — and soon won acceptance from both the team as well as the surrounding community.

Macaulay Culkin Helps to Thwart Porch Pirates in the Latest Glitter Bomb Video

Remember that viral video from last year where a guy put glitter bombs and stink spray inside packages and set them to go off when porch pirates opened them up?

Well, he’s put out another video . . . and this one features MACAULAY CULKIN, whose “Home Alone” character inspired the original idea.

This year’s contraption featured some upgraded components, and an even STRONGER stench.  Just like the first time, he has plenty of footage of the thieves opening the packages getting hit with glitter, spray, and freaking out when they hear fake police radio communication.  The last person tosses it in a dumpster.

As of last night, it was the #1 trending video on YouTube and it had more than 11 million views.

GOOD NEWS

A big party of 11 people walked into a Cracker Barrel restaurant in Dublin, Georgia on Wednesday and they told the manager they wanted their BEST server.

The manager grabbed a waitress named Janet Ballard, who’s worked there for about 12 years.  And she waited on them.

And apparently she did a good job.  Because at the end of their meal, every person at the table chipped in a hundred bucks . . . and left her a $1,100 tip.

Janet says it’s the biggest tip she’s ever gotten.  And there’s a great photo of her hugging one of the guests before they left.

TO AVOID THE HOLIDAY BLUES, SKIP THE SWEET TREATS

The holidays aren’t a happy time for everybody.

University of Kansas researchers say if you’re prone to the holiday blues you might want to avoid having sweets. The scientists say eating added sugars can trigger metabolic, inflammatory and neurological processes linked to depression symptoms.

So along with the increased darkness of winter, and the corresponding sleep patterns, throwing in high sugar consumption could result in a “perfect storm”– setting the stage to help you feel down and out.

Researchers suggest eating a minimally processed diet high in plant-based foods and Omega-3 fatty acids for optimal psychological benefit.
