Google’s Most-Searched “What Is” Questions of 2019
Google’s most-searched “what is” question this year was “What is Area 51,” because of the whole “storm Area 51” thing that never panned out. Here are the top ten questions we asked Google in 2019 . . .
- “What is Area 51?”
- “What is a VSCO girl?” (Pronounced VIS-co) It’s an insult for women who post heavily edited photos using the app VSCO.
- “What is momo?” It was a fake Internet challenge where kids supposedly did violent stuff. But it was just a hoax.

GOOD NEWS
Shopping malls are so chaotic especially during the holidays and for kids with autism, they can be impossible to visit. Which is why this is so great . . .
This year, the charity Autism Speaks partnered with a group called Cherry Hill Programs that works with mall Santas.
And over 500 stores and malls offered special events JUST for kids with autism.
Over the past month, 582 shopping centers across the U.S. and Canada took part in about 750 events.
A lot of them opened early to let parents with autistic kids come meet Santa before the general public got there. They also kept the lights dimmed and lowered their music to make sure kids with sensory issues were comfortable.
The program is called Santa Cares. And they do similar events around Easter called Bunny Cares.

REGULARLY GETTING SEVEN TO EIGHT HOURS OF SLEEP EACH NIGHT CUTS RISK OF HAVING A HEART ATTACK OR STROKE
Getting enough sleep is really important, and could lower your risk of having a heart attack or stroke, even if you’re genetically at-risk.
The data shows getting seven to eight hours of sleep each night lowers your risk for both of the health issues. Tulane University researcher and lead study author Professor Li Qi adds, “We found that a high genetic risk could be partly offset by a healthy sleep pattern.
In addition, we found that people with a low genetic risk could lose this inherent protection if they had a poor sleep pattern.”
