THINGS ABOUT KISSING:
➢ The longest kiss ever: Over the course of three days in 2013, a Thai couple locked lips for 58 hours, 35 minutes, and 58 seconds, ending on Valentine’s Day.
➢ Kissing Style: Two-thirds of people tilt to the right when they kiss. It is thought we do this because that’s the direction our heads tilt in the womb.
➢ Women have cleaner kisses: Women are more likely than their male counterparts to initiate an early morning kiss in bed, possibly because they floss more often, so they’re less worried about bad breath.
➢ Where the ‘X’ in ‘XO’ comes from: During Medieval times, many people didn’t know how to read or write, so when signing important documents, they would simply draw an ‘X,’ an abbreviation for the word “Christ”, which they would then kiss. Over time, the ‘X’ came to be associated with the act of kissing itself.

And just in time for their 70th wedding anniversary, they hit the lottery for more than HALF-A-MILLION BUCKS.
They’ve been playing the same Cash 5 numbers every Tuesday for 22 years, and they’d never won anything big before.
But late last month, they bought a ticket like always, and it hit the jackpot for $767,000 . . . or $544,000 after taxes. They picked up the check last week, on James’s 90th birthday.
Their 70th anniversary is this week. They’re planning to spend some of their winnings on a cruise . . . and they’re not sure what they’ll do with the rest yet.

71% of people say they sometimes secretly make unhealthy food choices behind their partner’s back. And 55% have hidden food from their partner somewhere in the house.
But as unhealthy as we are in secret, I guess we’re just as unhealthy out in the open.
Because 68% of people say their partner has had a negative influence on their healthy eating habits.

Images Reveal That the Bedroom Carpet Harbors TEN Times More Bacteria Than a Toilet Seat
You might be diligent about running the vacuum over your carpet whenever it starts to look a bit scruffy, but shocking research has revealed that the average bedroom floor is ten times dirtier than a toilet seat.
The data found carpets in the bedroom also harbor more than double the bacteria found in a living room, and ten times that of a gym floor.
Their findings also showed that almost half of people have admitted to never cleaning their carpets, making them an ideal breeding ground for colonies of disease-causing microbes.

Jordan Davis (meeting wife)
“My college roommate was getting married in New Orleans. My wife was in New Orleans for a totally separate wedding. Both wedding parties were staying at the same hotel, so we met, the first time, in the lobby of the hotel. I’m actually wearing a necklace that has the coordinates to that hotel. Then the next day, me and my brother walk into a bar in New Orleans, and her and her friends were sitting in the corner, and I was like, ‘Hey-that’s the girl from the lobby.’ She was actually dating somebody at the time. But we kind of exchanged numbers and stayed in contact, and about two months later, a month later, she came into town for CMA Music Fest and told me that she no longer had a boyfriend, and here we are.”

ALAN JACKSON ON HIS LOVE FOR HIS WIFE
Alan Jackson married his wife Denise in 1979 and says this about her “We got a lot of history together now, and we’re happier than we’ve ever been. So, she’s still beautiful, and she’s always inspired songs. I mean, one of my early hits was a song called ‘I’d Love You All Over Again,’ I wrote for her for our 10th anniversary. I mean, there’s been a zillion songs that have pieces of our good days and bad days inspired, and they continue to.”
MAREN MORRIS ON THIRD NUMBER ONE HIT: ‘THE BONES ARE GOOD’
Maren Morris has her third Number One hit with “The Bones.” And is due sometime next month.
She’s set to perform her last show before the due date on March 7th at the Houston Rodeo.
The baby is Maren and her husband, Ryan Hurd‘s, first, and she tells us she’s looking forward to the life changes to come.[“I think what I’m looking forward to most about being a mother is kind of getting to know a different side of myself. I think that it’s been just me for so long, and then my relationship with my husband, and I think that this is like a really selfless challenge to get to know another side of yourself, and it’s sort of like a reflection of you, literally, and how you deal with things. So I think it’s going to be an amazing challenge, raising a human.”]
Maren returns to touring in May.
DARIUS RUCKER MAKES RIAA HISTORY WITH ‘WAGON WHEEL’ – (02/14/2020)
Darius Rucker was surprised with a plaque celebrating the RIAA’s recent 8x-Platinum certification of his hit song “Wagon Wheel” during a visit to the Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum on Wednesday (February 12th) in Nashville.
Since topping the charts for back-to-back weeks in 2013, “Wagon Wheel” has now become one of the top five best-selling Country songs of all time and Darius is now the only solo male country act to achieve the honor of an 8x-plus multi-Platinum song in RIAA’s history.
“Wagon Wheel” was originally released by Old Crow Medicine Show in 2004. It was written by the band’s lead singer, Ketch Secor, and was based on a sketch by Bob Dylan, who is credited as a co-writer. The single was featured on Darius’ 2013 True Believers album.
Darius told us at the time that “Wagon Wheel” is the perfect bluegrass and country song. [“The way they do the song is the way it should be done. It’s just a perfect bluegrass song. I didn’t think that I could make it a country song, then I heard a band playing it in a country way, and I thought, ‘Wow! I wanna cut that.’ I talked Frank Rogers, my producer, into cutting it, and it’s the perfect country song. I don’t know if I could be any countrier than that. For me, it was a no-brainer. Once we started cutting it, I couldn’t believe I didn’t cut it for my first record. It’s just one of those songs that I just thought was perfect.”]
“Wagon Wheel” earned Darius a Grammy for Best Country Solo Performance at the 56th Annual Grammy Awards, the third of his career.
