An American Airlines flight attendant claims that the keto diet made him blow a false positive into a breathalyzer and ended up costing him his job.  In theory, the diet could change the way your body breaks down certain foods and cause a false positive.

NASA announced that it has hired a company to build the first-ever “commercial launch destination”. That would be a space hotel…. for the super-rich. The first-ever space hotel would be attached to the International Space Station. They plan to launch a “research & manufacturing facility, crew habitat, and large-windowed Earth observatory in the latter half of 2024.” Accommodations would include a “nest-like cabin” with unobstructed views of earth and “High-bandwidth communications back home,”
but no gravity. How much would it cost to stay there? They’re thinking about $50 million. Each.

It’s a continuation.”  Steven Spielberg is directing the movie, and it’s expected to hit theaters in July of 2021 . . . the week before Harrison turns 79.

If you don’t know “The Goldbergs”,  the main character is a real guy named Adam Goldberg, who as a teen, video recorded a LOT of stuff.  Each episode is based on those old videos, so they end each show with a REAL clip of tape.  Last night on “The Goldbergs”, it was all about a party at the house of a regular character, Dave Kim.  He’s not only based on a real guy, he IS a real guy. Last night, they had the REAL Dave Kim talk about how the house party started . . . even showing a brief clip of him from back then.

As long as you’re listening to me on the radio in the morning, I really don’t care what else you’re doing.  Eat gravy for breakfast and drive to work pantsless for all I care.

GOOD NEWS

A 62-year-old guy named Joseph Grunfeld from Piermont, New York climbed MOUNT KILIMANJARO in Tanzania earlier this month.

Oh . . . and he can barely walk. Joseph was born with a heart murmur, he’s had three back surgeries, he had a stroke that left one of his arms numb, he has arthritis . . . and he had knee surgery after he was mugged three years ago.  And as a result, he has a lot of trouble walking.

But he joined up with a group called Friends of Access Israel that helps people with disabilities accomplish AMAZING things . . . like climbing a 19,341-foot mountain.

Joseph was with 26 other people, and 25 of them made it up the mountain with the help of walking sticks and lots of teamwork.  It took them six days and by the time they were at the summit, the temperatures were in the single digits. Joseph says everyone in his life is, quote, “in total shock” that he was able to climb the mountain.

Quote, “It’s all attitude.  I was unbelievably inspired by the others with major injuries.  These people are severely disabled, yet go out there and overcome great challenges.”

Al Pacino’s Ex Blames Split on 39-Year Age Difference, Thinks He’s Cheap

Al Pacino’s ex-girlfriend blames their split on their 39-year age gap and claims that the Oscar winner is cheap. Israeli actress Meital Dohan, 40, dated Pacino, 79, for approximately two years and says that even though Pacino’s a legendary actor, he’s still an old man. I tried to deny it, but now he is already an elderly man, to be honest. So even with all my love, it didn’t last.

She also had few compliments for her ex when asked what gifts he’d given her during their two-year relationship. According to her: “He only bought me flowers. How can I say politely that he didn’t like to spend money?” She added she only wishes the best for him.

WHAT’S YOUR TAKE?

I’m 33 and I’m more than a little attracted to a coworker.

Thing is, she just turned 50. I think she likes me, too, for what it’s worth. And yeah, I know all the reasons you’re not supposed to have relationships with people you work with but that aside, would it be wrong or weird to pursue someone that much older than me?

Could it work or is it something that should just remain a thought?

How Many Times Can You Use a Towel Before Washing It?

How many times do you use a towel before you wash it?  Once or twice?  Maybe all week?  Or do you just wait until it starts to STINK?  Well, someone asked an expert.  And the magic number is . . .THREE.

That’s the maximum number of showers you should use the same towel for.  Then it’s time to wash it.  Here’s why . . .

Bacteria and mold start growing each time a towel gets damp.  Hanging it up to dry slows the process down, but doesn’t stop it.

Once you’ve used the same towel three times, it hits a tipping point.  And after that, you’re basically rubbing bacteria and mold all over yourself.

Three showers only applies if you hang it up to dry right after you use it though.  If you toss it on the floor and hang it up later, it stays wet longer.  So you might only get one or two uses out of it.

Washcloths are different though, because we don’t just use them to dry off.  When a towel gets soaked, it takes a lot longer to dry.  Which gives mold and bacteria more time to grow.  So washcloths should really only be used once.

HOTEL HACKS:
(As supplied by hotel users in a Twitter thread…)

➢ To block that irritating ray of light that inevitably shines through the space between the curtains when you’re trying to sleep, grab a suit hanger from the closet, and use the clips to fasten the curtains together.

➢ If you forget your phone charger, ask for one at the front desk. They have a box full. ➢ Put the chair-back in front of the A/C to keep it from blowing directly on you while sleeping.

➢ Your ironing board works as an adjustable-height desk. Since the chair is never the right height, use the ironing board for lengthy desk work.

➢ Instead of paying hotel prices for water, fill your reusable bottle in the hotel gym.

➢ Pack a 10′ LAN cable and plug your laptop directly into the wireless router.

➢ Instead of touching the disgusting tv remote, wrap it in the shower cap

  1. NASCAR driver RYAN NEWMANleft the hospital with his two daughters yesterday.  Not only that, but he walked out under his own power.

And that’s surprising, because less than 48 hours before, he was involved in a SCARY crash at the Daytona 500. It’s incredible that he survived . . . let alone walked out of a hospital less than two days later.

CARLY PEARCE HOPES HIT SINGLE BROUGHT HER EX

Carly Pearce‘s latest single, “I Hope You’re Happy Now,” is based on her own personal experience of having to break off a long-term relationship when she realized she had fallen out of love with that person despite staying in the relationship. As a co-writer on the song, Carly says things got a little awkward when after her initial session with co-writers Luke Combs and Jonathan Singleton, she learned that a third writer named Randy Montana helped finish the song.

Carly explains: [“When I found out that Randy Montana was a part of finishing the song I kind of freaked out a little bit because it took it too personal. He’s friends with this person and that scared me slightly, but I think as a songwriter and as an artist you’re taking the chance that the person that you are writing songs about, if you’re gonna go this deep with it, they’re gonna hear them, and I’m sure that he’s probably heard it but I hope that it brought him some sort of closure. I do wish him well and hope that he is happy now.”]

“I Hope You’re Happy Now,” featuring Lee Brice, is a Top 15 and climbing on the country charts.

It’s featured on her brand new, self-titled album, which was just released on Friday (Feb. 14th).

LUKE COMBS – MAN OF CONSTANT SORROW

I don’t know about you, but I love it when a singer gives you a little something extra at a concert.

Like . . . LUKE COMBS and his boys tearing through a cover of the country classic “Man of Constant Sorrow”.  They did it at a recent show in Peoria, Illinois.
