A company in Japan is giving its non-smoking employees an extra six days of vacation per year to compensate for smoking employees’ cigarette breaks. The Tokyo-based marketing firm Piala Inc. introduced the perk after employees complained that they were working more hours than staff who took regular smoke breaks. The company’s office is located on the 29th floor of a building, and resentment grew among non-smoking employees because smoking is only allowed on basement level, making each break last about 15 minutes.

GOOD NEWS
They say “living well is the best revenge.” This might be the fiercest example we’ve ever seen.
26-year-old Jen Atkin was engaged to a guy back in 2015, until he dumped her when she gained weight. She says she got up to 238 pounds, mostly from bad eating habits.
So after that, she decided to get in shape . . . joined a gym . . . and lost 112 POUNDS. But that’s not the end of it.
She also started entering beauty pageants. And a few days ago, she was crowned the new MISS GREAT BRITAIN . . . which is the U.K. equivalent of the Miss America pageant.
She also won best personality, and says that was kind of her secret weapon. Quote, “Although my body has changed so much, I don’t think my personality has. And I think that’s really helped me.”
She’s also been dating someone new, and says getting dumped ended up being the best thing that ever happened to her.

Kid Found Mom’s Thong Stuck to His Pant Leg at School, Mortified Mom Reveals in Viral Post
Heather M. Nicholson recently shared a post to Facebook which involved her young son, Hunter, and a thong.
Nicholson began by explaining that she had just picked up Hunter after school, who was eager to tell her about something that happened in class. When Nicholson inquired about what it could be, she said Hunter rolled up his pant leg and pulled out a pair of her thong underwear.
“I found this during music class!” he said.
According to Heather her thong had stuck to the inside of her son’s pant leg due to static cling.
He said he panicked and just shoved it back up there and left it all day because he thought I would want it back! she wrote in the post. Then he said he kept pretending to tie his shoe all day to shove them back up his pant leg.
Nicholson could not stop laughing at the situation and neither could those on social media, where the post has been shared nearly 290,000 times, and yielded more than 301,000 reactions.
In fact, the post struck a chord with so many that Nicholson began her own support group Facebook page for all those victims of static cling.

CATS AND DOGS CAN REMEMBER THINGS THAT HAPPENED YEARS AGO
Your pet is likely remembering more than you think they might.
Researchers from Denmark surveyed cat and dog owners about times when their pets had shown signs of remembering a specific past event.
They found the majority of the animals seemed to have so-called episodic memory– which is often triggered by things like locations, just as our memories are. Just 20 percent of owners felt their pet had not exhibited signs of remembering things.
Researchers say that more than half of the memories described events that occurred once “suggesting the recall of temporarily specific events.”

BLAKE SHELTON SAYS NICK JONAS BRINGS ‘CHAOS’ TO NEW SEASON OF THE VOICE
Blake Shelton is enjoying the new season of NBC’s The Voice, largely due to their new celebrity coach. He, Kelly Clarkson and John Legend are veterans of the show, but pop star Nick Jonas has come on board and kind of changed things up.
Blake tells us: [“Season 18 of The Voice is chaos because we’ve added a coach who’s kind of I think taken us all a little bit off guard. Nick Jonas has come in and he’s got this aura about him, and he’s kind of a quiet guy but he’s a killer in the blinds and it completely changes the competition into a different dynamic.”]
The Voice airs tonight (Monday, March 2nd) at 8 p.m. ET.
BARRY SANDERS GETS INVOLVED IN GARTH BROOKS JERSEY CONFUSION – (03/02/2020)
In what is now being called the “jersey scandal of 2020”, country star Garth Brooks has gotten the attention of the former Detroit Lions running back Barry Sanders. Confused outrage was the reaction as Brooks showed up wearing a Sanders jersey on his recent stadium tour stop at Detroit’s Ford Field, making some people believe that it was for the presidential candidate and not for the Hall of Fame running back.
An angry fan even took to social media to write, “Good grief. Can’t you just do what you get paid to do???? Why why why does it have to involve politics!!! So sad. We don’t pay good money for anything other than to watch you perform. Thought you were different.”
Of course, the hilarious part is that politics was never intended to make its way into the performance in the first place! Plenty more angry and confused voters also took to social media to express their opinions.
The story only became funnier when Barry Sanders got involved in the hilarium, tweeting, “Hey @garthbrooks, want to be my VP?” with a hashtag, “#Number20for2020”. Even the Detroit Lions football team got involved, creating a mock election poster wth a picture of Sanders and everything.
CHASE RICE PLANS TO RELEASE LESS MUSIC MORE OFTEN
Chase Rice recently surprised fans by releasing an unannounced project called The Album: Part I. The album consists of seven songs, with The Album: Part 2 already not far behind. This method of releasing new music is a pattern that Chase intends to continue.
He tells us: [“If you only put out an album every 18 months, 22 months, whatever, people want more. No matter how much you put out people are gonna want more, so I’m gonna put out less more because it allows the songs to get the respect they deserve, as opposed to people listening through 19 and picking three of them. Listen through seven of ’em, it’ll only take you 30 minutes, and then hopefully you love all of them.”]
Chase opened for Garth Brooks on his Stadium Tour last weekend at Ford Field in
