➢ As if a global pandemic weren’t stressful enough. ➢ I’m not sure if we’re supposed to be washing our cash these days, but some people are definitely doing it. And if there ever was a time that Canadians are grateful that their bills are made out of plastic, this is it. The Bank of Canada first introduced polymer banknotes in 2011, and now, videos and pics of Canadian cash getting a scrubdown in hopes of avoiding the spread of the COVID-19 virus have been popping up on social media feeds. One video posted to Facebook shows a sink full of soapy $20 bills accompanied by the caption “Good thing about being Canadian we can wash our money.” The video has since gone viral. “Time” says that money can carry more germs than a household toilet.
➢ A married couple named Sam and Diane posted a coronavirus parody of the holiday classic “Baby, It’s Cold Outside”. They call it “Baby, It’s Covid Outside” . . . and it’s filled with references to things we’re seeing and doing because of the quarantine.

STUDENTS WHO LISTENED TO BEETHOVEN DID BETTER ON TEST
Listening to Beethoven might help you remember important things.
Baylor University researchers found college students who listened to classical music by Beethoven and Chopin during a lecture, and heard the music played again that night, did better on a test the next day than did peers who were in the same lecture, but instead slept that evening with white noise in the background.
The results didn’t last, however. Students in both groups failed the same test nine months later. Still, researchers say that targeted memory reactivation (TMR) may happen during deep sleep, when memories are theorized to be reactivated and moved from temporary storage in one part of the brain to more permanent storage in other parts.
Researcher Dr. Michael Scullin adds, “We think it is possible there could be long-term benefits of using TMR, but that you might have to repeat the music across multiple nights.”

People Are Piling on Miranda Lambert for Posting Photos with Joe Exotic
MIRANDA LAMBERT is taking heat for photos she shared yesterday of herself and the “Tiger King” guy JOE EXOTIC. The pics were taken in 2017 after Hurricane Harvey tore through Texas and Louisiana.
She was in Houston with Mutt Nation rescuing dogs, and she put out a call for volunteers. She needed help transporting shelter dogs to Oklahoma, and Joe “came to the rescue” by bringing his trailer.
But she didn’t say any of that in the caption. All she wrote was, “Here’s a little Monday memory for y’all. #TigerKing. #WayTooPrettyForPrison.” (Joe is serving 22 years for animal abuse and trying to have a rival killed.)
Well, the Internet had a few things to say. Miranda had to do another post where she explained the whole Hurricane Harvey backstory. She ended it with, “I’ve never been to his zoo and I didn’t even know he had tigers. Obviously, I’d never condone animals being treated badly.”

Russell Dickerson Is Keeping Busy During Quarantine by Pressure Washing Everything
Are you a little too attached to your gardening and power tools during quarantine?
RUSSELL DICKERSON was asked what he’s up to these days, and he’s hosing down everything in sight.
Quote, “Today, I’m pressure washing the deck. Once I do that I’m going to pressure wash the sidewalk, then I’ll pressure wash the driveway, and then I’m going to pressure wash every single thing that I possible can because I love it. It’s so fun.”
