➢ A woman in Louisiana went viral over the weekend after she posted an Instagram video about how she used Gorilla Glue spray on her hair instead of hairspray . . . and her hair hasn’t moved in a month.  She went to the ER on Saturday . . . but it turns out that after 22 hours of trying different things to get the glue out, nothing worked.  She was discharged and the hospital told her to keep using rubbing alcohol on her hair, but it hasn’t worked.

So now, Tessica has apparently hired an attorney and she’s thinking about SUING Gorilla Glue.

The label on the Gorilla Glue spray says not to use it on eyes, skin, or clothing . . . but it doesn’t mention hair.

Gorilla Glue put out a response yesterday saying they’re sorry to hear about Tessica’s situation but, quote, “this product is not indicated for use in or on hair, as it is considered permanent . . . it is used for craft, home, auto, or office projects.”  Tessica has also started a GoFundMe where she’s already raised nearly $13,000.

➢ And you thought stray cats living under your porch is a bad problem to have. A person living in Lake Tahoe, Montana, recently shared a video of a black bear living under his porch. The video shows the bear making warning noises and scratching the dirt with its paws. The person shooting the video then goes up onto the deck and stomps to scare the bear off.

➢ A guy in Massachusetts named Bradford Gauthier went to bed with his wireless headphones in last week . . . ate one in his sleep . . . and had to go to the hospital.  He realized he had something in his throat the next morning, but didn’t know what it was.  When he couldn’t find one of his AirPods, he used an app to make it beep, but the battery was dead.  And he’s glad because if it HAD beeped, he really would have freaked out.

He says the headphone still works, but the microphone is glitchy.  So he might have to buy a new one to replace it.  And he’s speaking out to warn other people that falling asleep with headphones in might be risky.

➢ “Jeopardy!” has announced its next batch of celebrity guest hosts. They include Anderson Cooper, Dr. Mehmet Oz, Savannah Guthrie and Dr. Sanjay Gupta. The four hosts will each temporarily take over hosting roles later this season, following “Jeopardy!” champ Ken Jennings and other previously-announced guest hosts, like Katie Couric, Aaron Rodgers, Bill Whitaker and Mayim Bialik. Sony Pictures Television, which produces the show, will make a donation to the hosts’ favorite charities during their week of episodes, in an amount equal to the cumulative winnings for the week.

AMAZING FINDS IN AN EDMONTON HOME

Alex Archbold owns a store in Edmonton, as well as runs a YouTube channel about his work buying and selling antiques for his business.

He recently purchased the contents of a home that had belonged to a music teacher. She didn’t have any family. He knew her a little but only knew the house contained a grand piano.

He documented his experience with the home on YouTube, noting that some rooms of the home were filled with containers stacked to the ceiling—some containing designer clothes while others contained trash. In other rooms Archbold says he found silver dollars, wallets full of cash and bags that contained gold and diamond rings.

One of Archbold’s most memorable discoveries was a 100-ounce bar of silver he found hidden underneath a mattress.

“It’s an urban legend kind of story, and I got to be there and got to be part of it. It’s just insane.”

He says that he spent about $10,000 on purchasing the contents of the home, and has since earned about $400,000 auctioning all the stuff off.

He plans to use the money to open a café beside his shot and as for the piano he says it will be fixed up and put into the café to honour the piano teacher.

GOOD NEWS

Sadie, a 6-year-old German shepherd in New Jersey stayed by her owner’s side when he collapsed after suffering a stroke. She wouldn’t leave him alone and even licked his face to keep him awake.

Sadie also dragged him across the room to his cellphone so he could call for help,

Now she is staying with family while her owner, Brian, recovers. They FaceTime every night and are counting down the days until they can be reunited again.

Brian only adopted Sadie a few months ago after she was surrendered to the shelter by her former owner.

The Shelter said “Though her bio noted that she was especially nervous with men, Brian felt a special bond with Sadie almost immediately. Brian gave Sadie a second chance at life, adopting Sadie and welcoming her home, This time, Sadie gave Brian a second chance at life.”

ROLLING IN THE CHEAP:
A woman who has been nicknamed the “world’s tightest millionaire” says she never buys anything new and even eats cat food to save money. 50-year-old Aimee Elizabeth, of Las Vegas, is worth a whopping $5.3 million, but still takes pride in the fact that she knows how to stretch a buck.

Aimee, who appeared on TLC’s “Extreme Cheapskates,” gives herself a monthly spending budget of $1,000, and sticks to it by keeping her water heater turned off, only turning it on 22 minutes before her shower, to give it time to warm the water.

She figures that saves her $80 per month. Another of her genius money-saving hacks involves her ex-husband, from whom she won the house in their divorce. She (ahem!) “allows” him to clean her home for free so she can save a few hundred dollars per month on cleaners.

And yes, she confesses to eating cat food. Instead of buying tins of tuna, she says she saves 30 cents each by picking up cat food cans labelled “chicken and tuna in light gravy”. And, yes, she has fed it to guests.

MUSIC MAY HELP PATIENTS RECOVER MORE QUICKLY AFTER SURGERY

Music might have more power than you think. Researchers from The Netherlands analyzed several old studies and found that the simple act of listening to music around the time of heart surgery may help patients recover.

The scientists say the majority of the time the music used was relaxing and did not have strong rhythms or percussion, and the choice of music varied; sometimes it was from the patients’ own playlists, but other times it was preselected playlists or chosen by their doctor. The data showed that compared to things like breathing exercises, listening to music significantly reduced patients’ anxiety and pain after major heart surgery, and up to several days of listening to music also reduced anxiety for up to eight days after surgery.

Though more research is needed, at least one expert says that “we should start looking at implementing this as a complimentary form of therapy for patients following heart surgery.”

A Chiefs Player Says Tom Brady Called Him “Something He Won’t Repeat”

TOM BRADY and Kansas City Chiefs defensive back TYRANN MATHIEU got into several verbal altercations during the Super Bowl on Sunday.  It’s unclear what was said, but Brady MAY have crossed a line.

After the game, Mathieu said, quote, “Tom Brady’s a great quarterback.  [But] I never really saw that side of [him], to be honest.  But whatever.  No comment.  It’s over with.  I’m done with it.”

On Twitter, he added, quote, “He called me something I won’t repeat,” and added, quote, “But yeah, I’ll let all the media throw me under the bus as if I did something or said something to him . . . go back to my previous games against [Brady] . . .

“I showed him nothing but respect . . . I show grace.”

That may be true, but Mathieu provoked Brady when he ran up to him, shouted something, and pointed a finger in his face.  After that, Brady chased him down and jawed at him.

Mathieu didn’t say what Brady called him . . . but it seems like it was something offensive, or he wouldn’t have made a point of saying that he wouldn’t repeat it.

For the record, sources say it was NOT a racist comment.

In any event, Brady reportedly texted Mathieu to apologize after the game . . . saying that his outbursts came “in an emotional moment [and] were in no way a reflection on his feelings toward [him].”

Brady called Mathieu the “ultimate competitor,” an “incredible leader, champion and class act.”  He also said that he wants to apologize in person sometime.

Mathieu has since deleted the Tweet, and neither of them have said anything else about it publicly.

TJ OSBORNE OPENS UP TO ELLEN DEGENERES

Brothers Osborne’s TJ Osborne appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show yesterday (Thursday, Feb. 4th) to talk about his decision to come out as gay on Wednesday (Feb. 3rd) via a Time magazine article. He told the talk show host that he wished he hadn’t waited so long saying, “I kinda got to this point to where I knew there was really never going to be the perfect time, and that honestly, now that I’m kinda behind it now with the coming out, it’s wild to me that the perfect time is always now. I instantaneously felt that I wish I had done this a long time ago.”

TJ said that he has felt nothing but love since the announcement, but he’s still anxious to see how he’ll be received in rural America. He said, “I think there are some people out there … there’s a lot of hurdles, clearly, with people that don’t like gay people, and it’s just a thing. But in some respects, I do feel like maybe through my insecurities, I’ve built it up to maybe be a bigger hurdle than it was the whole time.”

TJ and his brother, John Osborne, continue climbing the charts with their latest hit, “All Night.”

Kelsea Ballerini on Why She Blocked Comments on Her Instagram

If you’re famous, chances are somebody hates you.  And thanks to social media, they can slide into your comments and be as mean as they want.

So I can totally understand why KELSEA BALLERINI decided to block the comments on her Instagram posts.  She talked about it in an interview.

Quote, “I’m super sensitive and I think that’s a good thing.  For a long time, I was reading all the comments, and obviously I loved the good ones, but I would find the bad ones and they would just hurt my feelings.”

She didn’t want to stop sharing stuff about her life and career, especially because she’s someone that young girls look up to.

Quote, “I think it’s relatable and girls need to see that . . . so, I was like, ‘It’s either me not sharing, or me sharing and not caring about what people say,’ so I just turned the comments off for a while.”
