STRESSED? TRY SCREAMING. YES, REALLY
If you’ve been feeling stressed you might just want to scream, and you should, it could help you feel better. Avi Klein, a psychotherapist, says, “I think every emotion that we feel has a kind of correlating action that goes along with it.
It feels really good or even healthy to discharge that emotion.” John Norcross is a professor of psychology at the University of Scranton and says that no matter how you vent your feelings out, it’s a good way to relieve tension.
Klein notes that simply screaming won’t fix your issues, and you’ll still have to face whatever it is that is bothering you and work through it, even after taking the edge off.
He advises that if you don’t feel like screaming all the time you should figure out what issues are giving you those emotions, and work on finding some healthier coping mechanisms for solving the problem.

KEITH URBAN & P!NK’S DUET WAS VERY SOCIALLY DISTANCED
Keith Urban‘s latest hit single, “One Too Many,” a duet with pop star P!nk, is a product of modern technology. The two were unable to be in the same room at the same time due to the global pandemic so they recorded their vocals in their respective home studios.
[“This song was written as a duet, and I sent the song to her and luckily she loved it. I loved the song and I was really hoping she would love it, because she’s truly one of the great singers of our generation. So, to hear her voice on this song was phenomenal. We had such a great time getting to do that. I wish we could’ve done it in the same space, but you know with the situation we’re in, of course, we couldn’t do that. So, she recorded her vocal at her house and I did mine at my house, and we put it together.”]
“One Too Many” is included on Keith’s latest studio album, The Speed of Now Part 1.
FAST FACTS
The Speed of Now Part 1 was released in September of last year.
Keith says there will definitely be a Part II, however no release date has yet been announced.

Vince Gill Would Like to See More Country Artists Speak Up About Diversity
If you haven’t seen it, VINCE GILL was on “CBS This Morning” recently talking about how country music is dealing with the subject of race . . . especially following the Morgan Wallen controversy.
Vince admitted that he was “nervous” to even discuss it because you can have good intentions but still “get ripped” for what you say. And he pushed back on the idea that everybody in country music leans far to the right.
Quote, “I think most people perceive that country music is extremely conservative, and I’m not sure that’s true. Maybe the audience might be predominantly conservative, I don’t know that the artistry is, I don’t know that the community is.”
He does think it “would be nice” if more country artists decided to speak up.
“And when White America makes the argument, ‘I hear it in rap music all the time’, I go, ‘Have you not been paying attention to the last 3-400 years, how that word has been used by the white community? It’s derogatory, dismissive, and hurtful. It doesn’t have a place.'”
