On Today’s Show
June 3, 2021 9:35 am➢ You may have seen the viral video of a southern California teen pushing a large brown bear off a wall in her back yard. The bear had grabbed her dog, but let go after she shoved it over the wall. Here she is talking about it. (The bear’s cubs were walking on the wall, making the dogs bark, so animal experts believe the bear was just protecting her cubs. They are regulars in the neighborhood.)
➢ A woman in England confronted a man who was sleeping on a sofa in her sunroom. Turns out he was drunk when he crashed there the night before and agreed to leave right away. Listen to their awkward conversation, here.
➢ Canada is the most-likely candidate to become the first cashless country in the world. A study by money.co.uk ranked countries based on contactless payment limits, the number of major e-wallet operators, the number of ATMs per 100,000 adults and the percentage of the population with a debit and/or credit card. With a score of 79.1 out of 100, Canada was also named the world’s most cashless economy right now.
➢ ‘James Bond’ producers have vowed to keep the iconic British spy in movie theaters, despite streaming giant Amazon’s $8.45 billion acquisition of 007 studio MGM. In a statement, Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson, who also run London’s Elon Productions (the stewards of the film series), said they “are committed to continuing to make James Bond films for the worldwide theatrical audience.” It’s still unknown how long a theatrical window the films will have before eventually landing on Amazon Prime Video, but it is clear that Daniel Craig’s swan song as Bond, “No Time to Die,” is on track to hit theaters on Oct. 8.
TODAY IS……………….

ROLLING IN CASH:
If you have the money, Rolls-Royce will build it.
The luxury carmaker has announced its Coachbuild program, in which it will work with wealthy clients to design and build very expensive, very customized cars specifically for them.
Rolls has unveiled a new model called the “Boat Tail,” of which only 3 are being made.
It has a fully removable roof that is stored separately from the car. That frees up storage space which has been turned into a very expensive picnic basket.
Two lids open up along the sides, containing expensive embossed silverware, glasses, napkins, and plates. There is a double champagne cooler designed to fit the buyer’s preferred bottle and colored to match.
Cocktail tables also fold out, and there are two Italian-designed stools. For shade, a parasol is stored in the center between the hinged doors.
While Rolls-Royce would not say how much the cars will cost, there are internet rumors floating around that Beyoncé and Jay-Z are some of the first buyers – to the tune of $28 million.

Venus Williams Shared Her Secret for Handling the Press
First, NAOMI OSAKA announced that she would not be speaking to the press during the French Open.
Then, she got fined $15,000 for skipping a mandatory press conference after her first-round win. So she quit the tournament altogether. She blamed her depression and anxiety, which can be triggered by reporters.
Well, VENUS WILLIAMS LOST in the first round. And during her press conference, she revealed how she handles the media.
She said, quote, “For me personally, how I cope, how I deal with it, was that I know every single person asking me a question can’t play as well as I can and never will. So no matter what you say, or what you write, you’ll never light a candle to me. “That’s how I deal with it. But each person deals with it differently.”

IT’S TIME TO DELETE MOST OF YOUR APPS
The Apple App Store has over two million apps—but that doesn’t mean you need them all on your phone.
A 2018 report found that the average person launches roughly nine apps per day and interacts with roughly 30 apps over the course of a month. That means the average person needs little more than a single page of apps for normal usage. It can be hard to delete apps because our brains tend to create illogical, emotional attachments to things we think we might need later.
Phone-storage app company pCloud analyzed which apps are operating in your phone whether you’re using them or not.
The top 5 worst battery drains are Facebook, Fitbit, Skype, Uber, and Verizon.

Watch Kip Moore “Torture” Travis Denning in the Gym
In the latest episode of “TRAVIS DENNING and Friends Do Stuff” . . . we find Travis in the gym working out with a seriously jacked KIP MOORE.
Travis admits he hasn’t worked out much since high school, so Kip says he’ll go easy on him. But that’s a lie because he turns to the cameraman and says, quote, “I’m going to kill him.” And then he does.
He makes Travis work up a sweat on the stationary bike . . . has him push a weight sled loaded with plates . . . and then do inclines with 45-pound dumbbells.
Kip shows him how to “hold a pullup” for five seconds. Travis thinks he can’t even do one, and then proves it. Finally, Travis is forced to “burn it” on the Assault Fitness Airrunner until he’s totally wrung-out, and perhaps, wishing he was dead.
