➢ The first bullet train went live in Tibet on June 25, and its speed about 100 miles per hours pretty much the least fascinating part about it. CNN reports on some of the more notable and unusual features of the line, which links the Tibetan capital with one of Tibet’s “most popular tourist destinations,”. Among them: 75% of the 250-mile route is made up of bridges (121 of them) and tunnels (47 of those), and 90% of it sits roughly 10,000 feet, or almost two miles, above sea level. Because of that, passengers need extra oxygen, and what they are fed in the train is air with a 23.6% oxygen level versus the naturally occurring 21% level.
TODAY IS……………….
1947 [74] It is reported that a UFO crash-landed in Roswell, New Mexico. Although the Air Force explains it was actually a downed weather balloon, the Roswell Incident spurs numerous conspiracy theories about alien activity and government cover-ups.

- 53% of the flags in the world have blue in them.
- NBC created its peacock logo in 1956 because peacocks are multicolored. RCA owned NBC at the time, and thought a multicolored logo might inspire people to buy color TVs.

GREYTE NEWS:
A new study not only confirms that stress can turn your hair grey, it found that it might be reversable.
A research team say they were surprised to discover that hair color can be restored when stressors are removed.
They say this adds to a growing body of data showing that human aging is not a linear, fixed biological process, and it may be possible to at least partly halt or temporarily reverse it.
Most people notice their first grey hairs in their 30s or late 20s, and it seems this period is when the process is the most reversible.
Those who already have a full head of grey hair are likely be out of luck no matter how much psychological stress they reduce in their lives. The scientists say their research could provide new insights on how human aging is influenced by stress.

CHRIS YOUNG, KANE BROWN TAKE ‘FAMOUS FRIENDS’ TO NUMBER ONE
Chris Young and Kane Brown claim the top of the Mediabase country radio chart this week with their collaboration, “Famous Friends.” This marks Chris’ 12th career Number One single and the 6th for his labelmate Kane.
Chris tells us that the title of the song is misleading, and that was done on purpose. [“It’s not what you think when you first see the title. It’s like ‘Famous Friends,’ Chris Young and Kane Brown. I wanted everybody to go, ‘What is this gonna be about?’ And then when they hear the song it’s supposed to be, you know, we’re really taking the hat off to all the people that might not be famous to everybody else but they’re famous to you, they’re famous to your hometown, they’re famous to your friends that you know, and that was something that we thought everybody could relate to.”]
“Famous Friends” is Chris and Kane’s first collaboration since working together on Kane’s 2017 song “Setting the Night On Fire.”
