➢ A New Jersey man is going viral on TikTok after posting a video about the time he accidentally cleaned a complete stranger’s house. Louis Angelino III cleans people’s homes as a job and this is him explaining the big mix up.
➢ Florence “SeeSee” Rigney, said to be America’s oldest working nurse, is hanging up her scrubs for a well-earned retirement. The 96-year-old has cared for patients for more than 70 years. The MultiCare Tacoma General and Allenmore Hospital system has established the “SeeSee Rigney Nursing Endowed Scholarship Fund” to inspire future generations of nurses.
➢ Today is National Aunt and Uncle Day, when you’re supposed to honor all those people you happen to be related to. But here’s one person who WON’T be giving her aunt a call:
A TikTok’er named Madison Beenau says her aunt-by-marriage recently tried to have her 85-year-old grandmother KILLED, because she didn’t want her at a wedding.
The woman’s son is getting married in a week, and she hates his grandmother . . . a.k.a. her own mother-in-law. So she hired a HITMAN to take her out. But then her husband overheard her talking about it, so the hit didn’t happen.
Madison’s family got the cops involved, but it’s not clear if the aunt has been arrested yet. Meanwhile, the wedding is a week away . . . the grandmother HASN’T been invited . . . and she’s upset about it. It’s not clear if they told her about the hitman or not.

FOUR RANDOM FACTS
- “The Oregon Trail”(1971) is actually older than “Pong” (1972). It was originally developed for use by a student-teacher in Minnesota as a history lesson. (Sadly, the teacher died of dysentery. Kidding! He’s still alive.)
- Apples can be stored for up to a YEAR before they’re sold.
- There was an infamous game of roulette in Monte Carlo on August 18th, 1913, where the ball fell on black 26 times in a row. Gamblers lost millions expecting it to land on red along the way, making “the gambler’s fallacy” famous. That’s the false notion that independent events of chance must somehow even out.
- By age 32, you’ve been alive for over one billion seconds.

SCIENCE NEWS
- Lots of climate change news: Fires in the Amazonare now pumping out more CO2 than the Amazon absorbs.
Death Valley had the planet’s hottest 24 hours on record, averaging 118.1 degrees.
Last month was the hottest June ever in the U.S.
And experts say we could see record floods in the next decade because of rising sea levels combined with a wobble in the Moon’s orbit.
- In pet news: A study found dogsare better than little kids at figuring out if you’re lying or not. And if they decide you are, they’ll start ignoring you.
- And this might be the biggest science story of the week, some say decades: A.I. has now mapped out almost every protein in the human body, or what we call the “building blocks of life.” And the company behind it posted all the data online for free.
That means scientists all over the world now have access. So it’s a huge moment in medicine that could help cure a whole bunch of diseases.
It’s also already mapped out proteins for things like yeast and E. coli. So it could help do other stuff too, like create better crops to feed more people, or develop “green enzymes” to break down plastic.
- The guy from “Impossible Science” had a woman standin a doorway and push the sides of her arms “out” against the door jamb for 30 seconds. When she walked away, her arms rose on their own. It’s called “involuntary muscle movement.”

Two Out of Five Americans Would Reject a Trip to the Moon
It seems like billionaires are falling over each other to shoot themselves into space. And unlike most of the other stuff rich people do, we are NOT envious.
A new survey asked if you’d want to go to the moon . . . if your safe return to Earth could be GUARANTEED.
Even then, 42% would turn it down, while about 50% would go. Men were much more likely to want to go than women . . . and millennials were far more likely to say yes than Baby Boomers.
The people who said they were NOT interested were asked why, and the most popular response was: “I don’t want to go to the moon.” Fair enough!
Others turned it down because: The moon would be boring . . . they’re scared . . . fear of flying . . . fear of heights . . . claustrophobia . . . they’re “too old” . . . there’s “no point” . . . and some just couldn’t get past the unrealistic safety guarantee.

(Jackie was in movies like Mel Brooks’ “History of the World, Part 1”, and “Caddyshack 2”. “Simpsons” fans might know Mason best for his association with “The Simpsons.” His voice appeared in 11 episodes as ‘Rabbi Hyman Krustofsky’, the father of ‘Krusty the Clown’, a role that nabbed an Emmy Award for Mason in 1992.

Highlights from Morgan Wallen’s “GMA” Interview
In case you didn’t see it, MORGAN WALLEN talked to MICHAEL STRAHAN on “Good Morning America” last Friday. It was his first public interview since the racial slur controversy . Here are some of the highlights.
Asked when he first realized his world was about to change, he said, quote, “My manager called two hours before the video came out and said, ‘Are you sitting down?’ No one’s ever done that. I realized quickly how much my words matter and the weight and influence I have.”
He talked about the irony of his record sales increasing after the controversy. Quote, “We calculated how much the numbers spiked after the incident and got to a number around $500,000, and DONATED it to black music organizations.”
As for the underlying issue that caused his bad behavior. Quote, “I checked myself into rehab. For 30 days, I spent time in San Diego just trying to figure it out. Why am I acting this way? Do I have an alcohol problem? Do I have a deeper issue?”
Asked what he’d like to say to his fans, he answered quote, “I said that word out of ignorance. It doesn’t mean you should follow my lead. I hope my fans know it’s not in my heart, and not something I condone or that I think they should be doing.”
Controversy aside, Morgan is still making music. Yesterday he posted a preview of a brand new song called “You Proof”. You can check it out on his Instagram.

THOMAS RHETT MISSES ‘INTOXICATING’ FEELING OF BEING ON TOUR
Thomas Rhett is counting down the days until the launch of his Center Point Road Tour on August 13th and 14th in Orange Beach, AL with special guests Cole Swindell and Gabby Barrett. He’s played a few shows at smaller venues in the last few months, but Thomas says he can’t wait to feel the energy of those venues on the tour. [“This fall on the road, gettin’ out there with Cole and Gabby is just gonna be so awesome. I just miss playing for people so bad. It’s intoxicating in a way. It’s a feeling that you can’t really replicate without a real live audience. And so to say that I’m excited is an understatement, especially just getting back with the band and getting to rehearse for these shows, it’s just something that we’ve missed so bad, like a little part of our heart was kinda missing and now it’s starting to reform.”]
