Bella
June 9, 2025 12:01 amMeet Bella!
Bella came to our foster program recently. She has not had the best start in her young life and takes a while to warm up and once she knows she can trust you, her puppy personality comes to life!
She would not do well in an apartment because she can be an excited puppy and barks to play. She was the only dog in her former home and would do well with another happy playful dog who is also respectful of her boundaries. If no other dog, then an adopter who has the time to spend playing with her.
Once she understands that you are willing to give her a stable home with love, she will be your best friend. Since placed in the foster home her puppy personality has really come out – she is a true puppy in every way. She adapts to a routine quickly and enjoys having a routine. Going for walks is one of her favourite things to do and she loves to walk! Adopter must be in a good health to keep up with this little gem. She will pull at first because she is excited but she will relax to stop at every tree or shrub to sniff. Bella is not a cuddler although she does like her butt scratched.
This girl is still a big puppy, she never enjoyed being a puppy in her former home so she is making up for lost time. She will use her foster mom's arm as a chew toy but learning to use her toys. Typical puppy, she will get into things she shouldn’t so an adopter who understands puppy proofing is a must.
Bella does NOT enjoy being around young children. Her foster home has neighbours with young children and she is not comfortable around them, but she does great with an older grandson who is 11 yrs old.
Must have secure fenced yard. ONLY older children (12+), another young dog who enjoys play time optional. Estimated year of birth 2022.
