Horne: James Clarence “Jim”, a resident of Chatham, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Monday, October 15, 2018 at Riverview Gardens at the age of 82.

Born in Chatham, Jim was the son of the late Wilbert and Grace (Renick) Horne.

Beloved husband and best friend of Janet (nee Levesque) Horne of Chatham.

Loving father of Michelle Pellerin of Lethbridge, Alberta, Margaret Horne of Chatham and Denise Horne of Medicine Hat, Alberta.

Sadly missed by his grandchildren, Jonathon Pellerin, Christopher Pellerin, Jennifer Kype and his great-grandchildren, Rayden & Sadie Pellerin, all of Alberta.

Dear brother of Wilbert (Mary Jean), Walter (Nancy) and Robert (Theresa) all of Chatham.

Also survived by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Robert Levesque (Lucille), Lucille Quayle (Mike), Richard Levesque and Annette Lozon (Ray).

Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his identical twin brother Joseph (1992) and his sister, Sr. Mary Catherine Horne, O.S.U. (2018).

Jim was devoted to his faith. He loved looking at classic cars and tractors, playing cards and fishing. He enjoyed having coffee with his brothers and talking about the good old times.

The family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham, ON, on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.

Vigil prayers will be held Wednesday evening at 7:30 p.m.

The Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at St. Ursula Catholic Church, 205 Tweedsmuir Avenue West, Chatham, ON., at 10:30 a.m., with Fr. Frank Leslie, Celebrant.
