Reginald D. “Reg”, a resident of R.R.# 2 Kent Bridge, passed away peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Hospice with his family by his side on Monday, November 22, 2021 at the age of 90.

Reg had delivered the mail with Joyce from the Thamesville Post Office for many years. Beloved husband of Joyce (Gore) Bowls. Reg is survived by a daughter Leslea Roesch (Paul); son  Mark Bowls; son-in-law Leigh Brown; daughter-in-law Janet Leiher; grandchildren Donnie, John, and Sarah Brown, Tammi, Mindy,  and Ian Bowls, Chris and Steve Roesch; great-grandchildren Kassandra, Cruz, Troy, Jon, Spencer, Paige, Lucas, Skylar, Owen, Maddox, Leeland, Piper, and Will. Dear brother of Bishop Jack Peck, Ron Peck (Jean), Jerry Peck (Elaine), Betty Fox, Joanne McGinnis (Pete). Predeceased by a daughter Jennifer Brown, a son Scott, infant son Daniel, daughter-in-law Eilene Hiscock, sisters-in-law Shirley Peck, Louise Whittington and brothers-in-law Roy Fox, Leroy, Edgar, Alfred and Francis Gore. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. The Bowls family will receive friends at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, 72 Victoria St., Thamesville on Wednesday evening from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM. The Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, November 25, 2021 at 11:00 AM. All those wishing to attend the visitation or funeral are asked to sign up using the following link: https://signup.com/go/bZpBGSg. The Bereavement Authority of Ontario has mandated that everyone attending must wear a mask. Cremation will take place with interment at a later date.
