HARPER: Freda I. (nee Livingston) – A resident of Chatham, and formerly of Tilbury, Freda Harper passed away at Eden Villa with her family at her side on Friday, November 26, 2021 at the age of 95.

Born in Wheatley, Freda was the daughter of the Osborne and Irene (Bolton) Livingston.

Beloved wife of the late Fred Pask (1989) and the late George Harper (1995).

Loving mother of Rick Pask, Judith Deceder (Gerald), the late Margie Sinclair (1981), Garry Pask (Shirley), Carman Carson (John), Vickie Bushey (Jim), Tim Pask (Dale), Bill Pask, Bonnie Pinsonneault (Bob McBride) and Brad Pask (Kim).

Proud Gramma to 26 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Predeceased by her infant daughter Joanne Pask.

Predeceased by her siblings Lena Ross, Lewis Livingston, Carl Livingston and Don Livingston.

Also missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.

Freda was a very resourceful mother and grandmother, and dedicated her life to her family. She was a skilled baker, known for her butter tarts, cookies and pies. Church was very important to Freda, and she taught Sunday school for many years.

Freda enjoyed her time volunteering at Tilbury Manor, where she loved visiting with the residents, doing crafts with them and putting on fashion shows. She loved flowers, and planted gardens wherever she went.

Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 from 2:00 – 4:00pm and 7:00 – 9:00pm. Those planning to attend are required to register online at (https://signup.com/go/jZUJMju) or by phoning the Funeral Home. The Bereavement Authority of Ontario has mandated that all attendees wear a mask. A Private Family Service will be live-streamed at 11:00am on Thursday, December 2, 2021 with Rev. Ken Abbott officiating. Interment to follow at Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham.

A very heartfelt thank you to the ‘angels’ at Eden Villa for their exemplary care of our mother.
