Born in DenHaag, Netherlands, the daughter of the late Wilhelmus and Jacoba (Meyer) de Bruin. Beloved wife of the late Derk Stam (2015). Loving mother of Marja Maahs (Daryl), Jolanda Kramer (Keith), John Kooistra (2017) (Christine), Brian Kooistra (Kim) and Trish Van Gelder (Ed). Cherished grandmother of Laura Lee Maahs, Dave Maahs, Jim Maahs (Angela), Alisha Killoran (Jamie), Tim Kramer (Megan), Jason Kramer (Lindsay), Kaylene Norlock (Matthew), Amanda Van Gelder, Kristen Van Gelder, Megan De Pooter (Casey), Curtis Van Gelder (Maddie), Tyler Kooistra (Ashley), Mark Kooistra, Hailey Kooistra and Rowan Kooistra. Proud great grandmother of Abby Maahs, Amy, Chloe Maahs, Veronika, Reuben, Rian, Owen, Mavis Killoran, Kole, Gwenyth, Ivry, Trent Kramer, Alera, Scarlett, Ezra, Liam Kramer, Lance Norlock, Nile, Eden, Kade De Pooter and Greyson, Rykleigh Kooistra. Dear sister of Gertie Viau. Predeceased by sisters Joanne Massaar, Gerda de Ruiter, Emile Stap and brother Leo de Bruin. Family and friends will be received at the Wallaceburg Christian Reformed Church, 150 Bruinsma Ave., Wallaceburg on Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Private family interment in Dresden Cemetery. A funeral service will be held from the Church on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at 11 a.m. If desired, donations may be made to Wallaceburg Christian School.
