It is with great sadness to announce the peacefully passing of June Doreen Rouse (nee Lambe) on the early morning of Monday, January 22, 2024 with her family by her side. 

She was born June Doreen Lambe to her parents, the late Clarence & Doreen (nee Galbraith) Lambe.

June will be lovingly reunited with her husband, George “Jerry” Rouse (2014) and her son, James Rouse (2011).

Mom will be remembered always by her children, Catherine Pritchard (Jamie), Dave Rouse (Lindsay), Janet Loveday and her daughter-in-law, Michele Rouse.

Proud grandma of Matthew Pritchard (Karen), T.K. Pritchard (Thyra), Jordan Rouse (Katie), Jesse Loveday (Sara), Dalton Loveday and Madison Rouse (Jake), Emily Grimaldi, Zoey Rouse, & Michael Grimaldi.

Great-grandma of Remy & Claire.

Sister of Jack Lambe (Annette), Diane Blue (Bob) and predeceased by sister, Linda Gardiner.

Sister-in-law of Ray Rouse (the late Shari).

Missed by many nieces, & nephews.

June retired after 35 years with Lambe Accounting as a Secretary & Bookkeeper. She was a devoted member of the former Park Street United and was a Sunday School teacher for many years. June volunteered for the Goodfellows selling papers. She was a dedicated mother to her children and was always there for anyone in need. During the summer, she enjoyed spending time at the family cottage and in the fall, was the Queen of Thanksgiving dinner for her Rockville family. She was the best pie maker ever. June will forever be missed by her family, friends and all who knew her.

The family to receive friends on Friday, February 2nd, 2024 at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham from 2:00 – 4:00 pm & 6:00 – 8:00 pm. A Celebration of June’s life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 3rd at the Funeral Home. A Live-stream of the Service will be available at the link below. Cremation has taken place with a private family interment at a later date.
