Kevin Hart Opens Up To Ellen DeGeneres
January 4, 2019 2:07 pmI love this. Kevin Hart opens up to Ellen DeGeneres about being hired to host the Oscars, only to find himself under attack for 10 year old tweets which caused him to step away from the dream job.
He explains how people feel they can attack a persons character – even for something that happened a decade ago, even for something they already apologized for and have learned and grown from since.
What kind of world do we live in where people can do that? A person can be attacked for something they did decades ago? This goes beyond hurt feelings and improper words said. Nobody should ever feel attacked and insulted. But I think we have all done something we aren’t proud of. Said things we shouldn’t have. Should we all have to worry about something stupid we did in the past that we have since corrected?
I was happy to see Ellen push for Kevin Hart to be reinstated.
