The Song You Will Never Hear Michael Buble’ Perform
August 20, 2019 12:34 pmMichael Buble says he will never perform this song. Ever.
He never meant it to be personal.
“That’s one of the songs on the record where I stepped away completely, and they did it all I had nothing to do with it. The truth is I didn’t really want to listen to it and now when I listen to the record I skip it, I am not ready to handle it again.’
For Michael, the song might have been tough, considering his son fought for his life against cancer. Listen HERE as Michael explains the song and why he won’t perform it.
It’s not a new song. But I noticed it making the rounds online recently and the power behind it was too much to not share.
It can be a tough time of year for parents. Back to school is something we might look forward to. Finally getting our kids back into routine. But it’s also bittersweet.
It can be hard for parents who are saying goodbye as their kids go off to school, or for parents whose kids are off to school for their very first day.
Time flies it’s true. It goes by way too fast.
Sometimes as parents we can get caught up in the everyday struggle and frustration. It’s hard work. It’s busy. And before you know it, your kids are grown and on their own and you wonder where the time went. Yes, it goes by way too fast.
My son, who lives in Calgary now, just turned 28 last week. My mind still sees the cute little boy with the big smile and missing front tooth.
This song was hard on Michael to write and perform. But as an artist he says it’s his job for people to feel.
Mission accomplished Mr. Buble. You did good.
