ET. Is Back!

Oh, this is COOL!

In an ad for Xfinity – E.T.  – everyone’s favourite extra terrestrial – comes back to earth after 37 years to visit with Elliot and his new family.

There’s a nod to the original movie in this four minute ad – the Reeces Pieces and that famous bike scene among them.

It’s funny, watching this, I long for a sequel.  I loved that movie as a kid. It was one of the first movies I ever got to see on “the big screen”. Going to a movie when we were younger was like winning the lottery. It was a very big deal.

I remember showing this movie to my kids years ago, and they were TERRIFIED.  My oldest daughter had nightmares for weeks.

But this – commercial- is cute and makes me want to watch the movie again.
