#Blackouttuesday

You might be noticing your social media feed has changed today.  Instead of the usual selfies, food pics, and funny memes that we’re used to, we’re seeing black squares.

It’s a movement that started in the music industry – as a day to stop and reflect on what is happening in the world– so instead of posting, today, on this #blackouttuesday -reflect on what’s going on and listen to the voices of people being affected.

I saw a post with the caption “I understand that I will never understand. But I’ll stand for you.” That sums it up for me.  I don’t understand.  But I will support and stand for you.

It’s been heartbreaking to watch. The world is broken. People are broken and hurting.

I always believe we can be the difference makers. It starts with us as individuals. It’s how we treat each other that counts. Kindness, compassion and love. For all.
