We Need Your Help!
February 22, 2023 3:54 pmI will be walking in the Coldest Night of the Year (Sarnia Bay) fundraiser this Saturday afternoon with a few of my fellow Bee Positive Blackburn Media coworkers, and we could use your support.
Actually, there are people in our community that could use our support. Together with Habitat For Humanity, our team will be walking with so many others to help raise money to support people and families experiencing homelessness, hurt, and hunger in our community.
We need to do something to help. And if we can spare a few hours to take a walk along Sarnia’s beautiful – but cold – waterfront, we’ll do it.
There is still time for you to sign up to volunteer, or put in a team, or walk yourself. And if you can’t be there, you can still make a difference by donating.
And it doesn’t have to be for OUR team. (smile)
Just show up and walk with us or donate to the cause.
So many people need us to show up and help. I’ll do my part. And please, if you can donate – I would be really thankful.
I realize how fortunate I am to have a warm place to stay. A roof over my head, and food on the table.
Let’s do something to help those that really need us right now.

And on February 25, I’m going to do something about it. Together with thousands of Canadians across the country, I’ll be walking and fundraising to support people and families experiencing homelessness, hurt, and hunger in my community. Please, give generously by clicking the “Donate Now” button.”
