Watch Coldplay’s Beautiful Tribute To Dick Van Dyke

Coldplay is using their latest music video to celebrate and pay tribute to Dick Van Dyke who turns 99 years old on December 13th.

It’s a beautiful video.  Dick Van Dyke has his family with him at his Malibu home to celebrate his upcoming birthday.  You get to see so many amazing pictures of Dick over the years, through his incredible career – from Mary Poppins, the dick Van Dyke Show and more.  He talks about his career and it’s just so emotional to watch.

“I’m acutely aware that I could go any day now, but I don’t know why it doesn’t concern me. I’m not afraid of it. I have that feeling totally against anything intellectual I am that I’m going to be alright.”

“I think I’m one of those lucky people who got to do for a living what I would have done anyway.”

I encourage you to watch, but I will warn you – it’s emotional.  It brought me to tears.
