Ladies, Will You Be Watching?
March 31, 2025 11:58 amI can tell you I won’t mind staying up late to watch this. Because I have questions.
I have been trying to navigate these waters for a few years now. When I turned 50, it felt like life turned upside down. Lots of changes.
These last few years I have been soaking up as much information as I can learning about menopause and perimenopause and just how it effects us.
I will be watching tonight for “An Oprah Winfrey Special: The Menopause Revolution”. Opray sits down with Halle Berry, Naomi Watts, and Maria Shriver. Also, Mary Claire Haver, MD, an ob-gyn and the author of The New Menopause, and Rhonda Voskuhl, MD, a neurologist who specializes in menopause. They will provide the medical side of menopause – if you’ve dealt with any of the symptoms- whether it’s brain fog, sleeplessness, rage, irritability, just not feeling like yourself, Oprah says “This show starts the revolution of answers for millions of women throughout this country. We discuss what you need to know to best advocate for yourself when it comes to mental health, sleep, weight, sex, and your brain so we can ultimately see how freeing menopause can be in your life, with the best yet to come.”
And by the way – this could be a good watch for men too.
Mariah Shriver says this –
A message from me and @oprah: EVERYONE needs to tune in to “An Oprah Winfrey Special: The Menopause Revolution”… and yes, men, we’re talking to you! Women are just starting to learn about menopause, but also need the men in our lives — husbands, partners, sons, friends — to educate themselves. Learn how you can help, how you can understand what is happening, and you might even be able to support anyone in your life who is a woman better!
“An Oprah Winfrey Special: The Menopause Revolution” airs tonight at 10 on ABC (Stream on Disney+ and Hulu the next day)
