
The View From Here – This Could Be The Boost We Need
March 7, 2025 1:25 pmHow are you doing? I mean, REALLY doing? So often we just respond automatically with “I’m good” or “I’m fine” when really, we feel anything but good or fine.
Winter has gone on far too long. We’re so ready for spring and warm weather and sunshine! I can’t wait to sit outside with my morning coffee with the sun on my face.
There is also a lot going on in the world around us. Tariffs. Politics. It can weigh heavy even if you think you aren’t really paying attention.
And life is EXPENSIVE, right? The cost of living is hard to ignore. I think we are all just trying our best.
Even the most positive people can feel a little weighed down right now, and for me, having to adjust to life with a walking boot because of an ankle fracture is just making life a bit harder right now. I can’t get in my daily walks with the dog, or do my morning exercise, and I’m fighting to stay positive despite everything.
So when people started talking about Lent, and making positive changes in their lives for 40 days – I started thinking. Maybe we could take that idea and make something of our own.
I’ve been talking to a lot of people who seem interested in kickstarting their habits. Building healthy habits, giving up some not so good habits.
I’m opening a group for anyone who might like to do a fun Spring Challenge. No cost. No obligation to do anything. Just show up.
Show up daily/ weekly.
Find and share inspiration and motivation with others.
Share positive and fun and uplifting quotes, recipes, tips and tricks.

For me, I would like to eat more good foods and stay off social media. I realize this group will be hosted on social media – but I can’t help that. We need to find a way to connect.
