Tasty Tuesday – Let’s Talk What’s Trendy On TikTok Right Now

I love to cook, but I’m more of an ingredient assembler than a creator in the kitchen.  I want simple, easy to follow recipes, and food to taste delicious.  Hopefully with little to no mess.

I did a search today to find out what’s trendy right now and this is what I got.

Blueberry Latte – Icy purple latte with homemade blueberry syrup—visually stunning and flavorful.

Colombian Hot Dogs – this has me more than a little intrigued.  A hot dog (preferably boiled).  A mayo-ketchup-lime sauce.  Caramelized pineapple.  (I rolled my eyes too).  Melty cheese.  And potato chips. I seriously want to try this.  I’m trying to think if mozerella cheese will work.  We can try it at the Stuff the Studio BBQ in our front parking lot if you’re up for it (smile).

Peach Upside-Down Cookies – Here’s something you can do with your peaches that are in season right now.  Mini cookies. Mixed with caramelized peaches.  I have peaches at home right now and really want to try this.

Kitchen Sink Sandwich – This really is what you think it is.  Using anything you have on hand so you aren’t throwing away any leftovers.  “The “Kitchen Sink Sandwich” is a delightful medley of whatever’s lurking in your fridge and assembled between slices of bread.”  Yikes.  That sounds like a realty tv show competition.  What would you have on your sandwich if it was based on leftovers in your fridge?

Teddy Graham Iced Latte – Latte that tastes like Teddy Graham cookies—honey, vanilla, cinnamon blends, cozy and customizable.
