Lady Gaga – The Dead Dance.  It’s her first time working with director Tim Burton, who brings the story to life on location at Isla de las Muñecas—Mexico’s infamous Island of the Dolls.  The video was featured in Netflix’s Wednesday – Season 2 (Part 2), where she makes a cameo as the mysterious Rosaline Rotwood.

Lady Gaga says “the inspiration for ‘The Dead Dance’ was a breakup, and it was all about the way that we sometimes feel when it’s over; how a relationship ending can kill our ability to feel hopeful about love. It’s got this really cool, funky beat underneath it. And that is when the song becomes not just about the relationship; it becomes about having fun with your friends when you’ve been through something tough and amazing. I can’t wait for people to listen to it.”

Tedy – I Hope.   Tedy is a Haitian Canadian artist now based out of Toronto.  He was born in Haiti, raised in Montreal.  Moved to Toronto in 2020.  Over 60 million Spotify streams, one million TikTok followers, and 26 million likes, Tedy has built his career on radical honesty, vocal power, and raw vulnerability.

“I Hope” tells the story of a complicated relationship that eventually unravels with heartbreak and scandal. Tedy explains the song, calling it a diary.   “That’s what my music is. If you want to keep up with me, just listen. You’ll hear exactly where I was and where I am now. With ‘I Hope,’ I was trying to balance actually having a personal life for the first time ever. There’s power in being real and admitting when you’re not being seen.”

Ravyn Lenae – Love Me Not

Ravyn Lenae was born and raised in Chicago.  Her grandfather was a pastor and she was active in church music. She studied classical music at the Chicago High School for the Arts.  This song really took off on TikTok before being released to radio.  Ravyn has announced she will join Sabrina Carpenter on tour for select dates, including two highly anticipated shows in Toronto on November 10th and 11th.
