Tasty Tuesday – Who Wants Cake?

I love to bake.  When I have time. (smile) And I love cake.  So this video that I found today is a win -win! (smile)

When I think of cake, I think of special occasions.  I think birthdays and I think of how special it was when my mom made us a cake for our birthday.

Was it ever from scratch?  No.  I don’t think so.  Pretty sure it always came from a box.  That never mattered.  I tried once to make a cake from scratch from an old recipe book of my mom’s but it didn’t turn out.  I don’t think I used the right flour at the time.

This is an interesting video.  We get to know a bit about Duncan Hines himself and learn how to make a cake from scratch from Mrs. Hines.
