With so many albums and so many songs, I can’t imagine how hard it would be for Taylor Swift to narrow it down to just FIVE but she did.

Taylor Swift has officially submitted five songs for consideration in her first nomination to the Songwriters Hall of Fame.

Taylor is among the nominees (including Sarah McLachlan, Pink, Kenny Loggins, KISS members Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley and LL Cool J) for the Hall of Fame’s Class of 2026 –

The songs Taylor selected to highlight her songwriting achievements:

“All Too Well (10 Minute Version)”

“Blank Space”

“Blank Space,” released in 2014, showcased Taylor as she embraced her synth-pop style with satirical self-awareness.

“Anti-Hero”

Anti-Hero,” from the 2022 album Midnights, offered a raw look at doubt and insecurity.

“Love Story”

From her Fearless album, released in 2008, which introduced her to the world as a country-pop crossover artist, and would become one of the biggest hits of the year

“The Last Great American Dynasty”

“The Last Great American Dynasty,” from 2020’s Folklore, expanded her songwriting scope by exploring historical fiction, chronicling the life of socialite Rebekah Harkness.

Taylor’s pick show the variety of her music and her evolution as an artist.

The Songwriters Hall of Fame, founded in 1969, honors lyricists and composers whose work represents a lasting influence on the music industry. To qualify, a songwriter’s first commercially released composition must be at least 20 years old.  Taylor meets that requirement.  Her debut single “Tim McGraw” was released to radio in June 2006.

Taylor Swift is one of the bestselling artists of all time.  With over 200 million records sold around the world, she is the highest-grossing live touring artist and the wealthiest female musician in the world.

Voting for the Songwriters Hall of Fame Class of 2026 closes at midnight EST on December 4. The inductees will be announced in January 2026 and celebrated at the annual induction and awards gala in June 2026.
