Local artist Emm Gryner (originally from Forest, ON) has released a new single to benefit Bluewater Health Foundation. The new single “Touch The Sky” is a song celebrating Canadian astronaut Jeremy Hansen and the Artemis II mission, the first crewed journey around the Moon since the Apollo missions, and a defining milestone in Canada’s space history. The song is released as a standalone single, with 100% of the proceeds from streaming to be donated to the Bluewater Health Foundation.

It’s not the first song Emm has written with proceeds to benefit Bluewater Health Foundation – Previously, she released the 2020 single “Stronger Someone” to support the hospital’s COVID-19 fund.

“Music has a unique ability to capture the heart of a mission like Artemis II — expressing courage, connection, and the sense that we are going together beyond the blue and fragile light. Through creative expression and collaboration, it can lift us, reflect our shared purpose, and help translate complex endeavors into something deeply human. My hope is that people everywhere feel seen through this art, inspired to share their own unique gifts with the world, and included in this historic journey back to the Moon.” ~Jeremy Hansen
