How Are Those Resolutions Going?

I don’t want to jinx it, but so far so good for getting back into some sort of routine for the new year.

I made a promise to myself to get back into building healthy habits and so far it’s working.

Exercise every morning with a workout program I love and a walk with the dog.

Eating more veggies because that’s the adult thing to do. (smile). Drinking water. Reading. (I’m totally taking advantage of the library and the free Libby app to read or listen). And I’m determined to always show up on time. That’s a big one. I know it’s rude to be late. I understand that. My problem isn’t in NOT wanting to show up on time. I just try to do too much in the lead up of where I have to be.

One of the things I love to do is set my clock ahead in my car by a few minutes. THINKING it will help me. But all I manage to do is the math in my head and tell myself what time it REALLY is. I reset my clock today, determined to show up when I say.

I’m journaling, and a have a dayplanner that I love – it gives me a section for my weekly focus, weekly goals, to-do list, even notes and doodles which I love too. And there is nothing more satisfying than checking off one of those things on the to-do list. (smile)

One thing that helps me is to have a guide for getting back into routine especially when it comes to health and wellness. I signed up for The Pause Strong FREE Challenge with Dr. Mary Claire Haver.

Ladies, if you are looking to take control over your health and wellness this year, and you’re in the thick of perimenopause or menopause and you feel like you have no control right now — this might be something of interest for you.

30 Days. A focus on protein and fiber, movement, and journaling. I’m on Day 4 and I love it. It’s helping me to stay focused and motivated. Again, it’s only January 7th. (smile)

If you sign up, let me know. If you’ve got resolution solutions, share them! I would love to hear how you are doing and what you are working on for 2026.

Maybe we need to bring back our Feel Good Facebook group to encourage each other again.
