Lady Gaga Covers Mr. Rogers “It’s A Beautiful Day In The Neighbourhood”

This might be just what we need right now.

Lady Gaga has put her own personal touch on the Mr. Rogers Neighbourhood theme song in a Super Bowl ad for Redfin and Rocket.

In the clip, Lady Gaga says how she admired Fred Rogers because he “stood for something” and she wonders what he would say right now.

“I just think about my earliest memories as a kid watching Mister Rogers, and I think about how much he meant to people, especially kids at home. So I feel like this just needs to be very heartfelt and kind and warm.”

Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood, which was a children’s educational show that aired from 1968 to 2001 on PBS.
