Corunna Woman In Tonight’s Hit List!
March 27, 2026 12:26 pmWe hope that you are listening to tonight’s Hit List with Jay & Tori as they count down the 20 biggest songs of the week, but also highlight a local musician.
Listen as Jay & Tori talk with Amy Bromaroff!
Amy is a mom of three, born in Sarnia, and currently living in Corunna. She wrote this song “Be Her Mother” about raising her youngest daughter, Malia.
Amy says,
Malia is 3 years old and on the autism spectrum. The song is about all the heavy emotions that come with raising a child with special needs. The self-doubt, fear and isolation can feel very overwhelming. This song is about knowing it is okay to admit that this journey is hard. At the end of the day, all you can do is love them and keep showing up. I hope other mothers hear this song and know that someone else gets it and that they are not alone in their feelings.
