Alex Warren – Fever Dream
Lauren Mandel, known by her stage name LØLØ, is a Canadian singer-songwriter, has built a solid fan base through TikTok. This song is for anyone who’s ever looked up their ex’s new life and regretted it instantly.
LØLØ says: “the punisher” is about that sick twisted ritual we all do after a breakup: stalking your ex on the internet (and their new girlfriend…and her sister…and her sister’s boyfriend…and yes, even the new girlfriend’s sister’s dog) even though you KNOW it’s going to ruin your entire day. I wrote it during a moment where I caught myself doing exactly that and thought to myself “why am I literally choosing violence against my own heart?” As I continued to piece together my ex’s new life through photos on the internet, I couldn’t understand why I felt addicted to punishing myself. It was almost like some part of me weirdly enjoyed it, as I found myself looking forward to checking in almost every day, playing his new life out in my head. I guess there’s something weirdly fascinating about knowing exactly where to find your sore spot, and pressing on it anyway. Don’t tempt me with a good time!”
The song is the first from her upcoming album “God forbid a girl spits out her feelings!” set for release on April 17th
Preston Pablo just released “Cause I Do,” his first new music of 2026. His first new music since his 2024 debut EP.
