The Candian Screen Actors Awards took place last night in Toronto. The big winner? The TV drama series Heated Rivalry, which made history, by taking home a record 16 awards, including Best Drama Series and Best Lead Performer for Hudson Williams. The hit series follows the secret romance between two professional hockey players and has become an international success, despite not being eligible for either the Canadian or American acting awards categories for its American co-star.

The Arctic comedy series North of North won Best Comedy Series, with star Anna Lambe earning Best Lead Performance in a Comedy.

Nirvanna the Band the Show the Movie won Best Motion Picture, while the post-apocalyptic film 40 Acres picked up the most film awards overall.

Mike Myers received the Academy Icon Award, and Eugene Levy offered a heartfelt tribute to longtime collaborator Catherine O’Hara.
