Sadie Sue is a rescue from Texas Chihuahua Rescue. She was rescued with a litter of abandoned puppies near San Antonio. We saw her picture posted on the rescue’s Facebook page and sponsored Sadie to be shipped up to Canada (via Texas Chihuahua Rescue Canada). After almost 6 months, Sadie required expensive surgery (luxating patella) and almost 6 months of rehab from start to finish. She’s now fully recovered and enjoys her walks thru our Camlachie neighbourhood. Her costume is Sadie Sue … and like the song says.. “she’s from Texas.. I can tell”! 🤠
