So, mark Wednesday, August 12th on your calendar and help us Stuff the Studio with brand-new school supplies for The Inn of the Good Shepherd. We need your help to make back-to-school a little easier for local families in need.
With support from Lambton College, 99.9 The Fox, Cool 106.3, and Big Country 103.9 will be broadcasting LIVE from the front parking lot at Blackburn Media (1415 London Road) from 8am – 4pm, collecting school supplies.
Whether you stop by with a backpack, a package of pencils, or make a cash donation, every contribution helps. Stop By for Lunch! Join us between 11am – 2pm for a hot dog/hamburger by donation, with all proceeds supporting Stuff the Studio.
Everyone who makes a donation receives a ballot for the chance to win prizes, thanks to our community partners:
What’s Needed?
The Inn of the Good Shepherd is collecting new school supplies for students of all ages, including:
- Pens
- Pencils
- Markers
- Crayons
- Pencil Crayons
- Erasers
- Rulers
- Pencil Cases
- Math Sets
- Calculators (Scientific/Regular)
- Binders
- Notebooks
- Loose-Leaf Paper
- Graph Paper
- Backpacks
- Refillable Water Bottles
- Healthy Snacks
- Drink Boxes
Monetary donations help purchase additional school supplies where they’re needed most.
Why It Matters
Each year, the Inn of the Good Shepherd provides hundreds of backpacks filled with supplies for local children. Every backpack is packed with the essentials students need for the classroom, along with a few snacks and drink boxes.
Your generosity helps ensure every child can walk into school on that first day feeling confident, prepared, and ready to learn! Together, let’s Stuff the Studio and make back-to-school an exciting time for children across Sarnia-Lambton.
